Which losing streak is worse?

The Cavs current 19 game losing streak?

or the Wizards current 0-23 on the road streak?

For the Cavs this was expected.. aside from the few who refuse to accept it just to give Lebron any praise.

So.. I'd with the Wizards, winless on the road this deep in the season? :speechless:

I'm fairly certain that was a simple attempt at humor. I don't think he was genuinely confused.

Anyway, I go with the Wizards. They actually have a very talented core there. There is no reason why a team with Wall, Young, Lewis, and Blatche can't win a damn road game. The Cavs, on the other hand, look like a D-league team. No amount of consecutive losses by that team would surprise me.

And they have a franchise player plus they acquired Rashard Lewis. I think what is interesting is that it shows the talent Dwight was working with as well as it shows he really didn't have much to work with. Rafer, Lee (Nets had the worse record), Hedo (on the Raptors had one of the worst records even with Bosh around), Lewis (on the Magic with one of the worst records.)

While I do agree with you that his teammates weren't the best in the world your point on Lee isn't really a valid one. He wasn't anything more than a role player for the Magic and was expected to be more than just one for the Nets. He has very little to do with the fact that the Nets had the worst record in the league.

Also you have to remember that Hedo's and Rashard's abilities suited that Orlando team and system perfectly for them in a way in which they could have maximized their capabilities as well as disguise their flaws.

I know I don't have to explain much else on this topic to you. I do believe that you would catch my drift however.

add raptors to that list

even though they aren't 0 for their last 18, I'd agree with this. The raps have looked awful in the month of January.

Haven't been paying attention to the Cavs but if Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison are both playing then there is no excuse to lose that many games in a row.

The Wizards are young and inexperienced and John Wall has been playing slighty under 100% healthy for most of the season. Rashard Lewis helps and I'm willing to bet the Wizards will have a "decent" second half of the season after all-star break. Key word "decent."

How was this type of play expected? There were a bunch of people predicting the Cavs could win the last playoff spot early in the season. No one expected the team to be THIS bad.

Cavs. Easily.

Those bunch of people have/had no idea what they were talking about. Any of the real posters on here were saying that this team could easily be one of the worst in the league. This type of play was indeed expected.

The Cavs, they started so well then Lebron happened

they had the easiest strength of schedule on the planet to start the year, that is why. Their play (outside their 1st game) has been horrible the whole year. They just got the easy part of their schedule out of the way early. That was touched upon in the early "Cavs are 7-9" thread.

As for the answer, its Washington. 0-23 on the road is pathetic for a team with a bit of talent. We all knew (at least the non LeBron haters who are excuse after excuse) that Cleveland was going to be a bottom team this season. Although I don't think anyone knew the depths of how bad their offense would be without LeBron

I have to be honest, the majority of those saying the Cavs could win 35+ games and possibly compete for the 8th seed were either LeBron haters, or have poor evaluation skills. Anyone who understands how good that talent really was knew a monster fall off was coming. Like I said, its amazing just how bad they are offensively, and now with Andy V out, it gets even worse when factoring in the other injuries. But when your best player is Mo Williams, you suck. Bad.

Well LeBron was a part of that, so your point is moot.

Anyway, I'll say Cavs. Atleast the Wizards win some games at home.

Id say the Wizards because if they would have won like 9 of those games, they would 2 games under .500 and in the thick of the playoff race. Hell, even if they had won like 5 of those, theyd only be a couple games back of Charlotte for the 8 seed. Not to mention they have so much more talent and potential as a team than Cleveland does.
