I do like that Monta got picked. The one in the West is pretty good, but surprised that there is no Pau Gasol. In the East, Boozer and Felton are a bit too high, I rather see Horford and Bosh make it. Overall pretty decent.

Possible, but doubtful.

Williams, Westbrook, Manu and Nash all indubitably deserve it more. And then you have Kevin Martin and Tony Parker in there as well.

I think Pau got moved to starting center for the west since Yao cant play

The starting C is picked my Greg Popavich after the reserves are picked.

I think he is just assuming that Gasol is the starter.

No, the commissioner picks who gets the spot. Pop just decides who gets to start (ie from the commissioner's pick and the rest of the reserves).

All I can say is thank goodness the fans don't get to decide the reserves. It's bad enough they pick the starters.

Glad to see D. Will and Kevin Love getting recognition, surprised to see Westbrook over them.

Pau Gasol not even an option?

Has he been named a starter already or something?

Because if not, that seems like a huge slap.

That's what I said. Pop picks the starter after all reserves are announced.

All I know is that if Duncan isn't involved, its really disrepectful.

Ginobili will probably get a spot but if Duncan doesn't there is something really wrong.

Duncan isn't outting up the numbers but he's the defensive anchor on the best team in the league.

I could see what some posters are saying. If this were 3 weeks ago some could say Felton was an all star and would have held weight. The Knicks record does not call for them to have more than one all star. Plus Felton has been a big reason for many of the loses. I'm happy with just one all star as a Knick fan.

I would like to say I feel that Lamarcus Aldridge should be a reserve all star, before the likes of Pau Gasol and Tim Duncan.

yea he shoots jumpers all game and gets roughed up in the paint. Shaq said it best. He is the Rupaul of big men lmao. I think he might be gay by the way he runs and walks too. Anybody else ever notice this? He runs like a girl.

I agree with this more or less I'd have Boozer over Bosh but he might have missed to much time.

Felton defiantly doesn't deserve the spot over Rondo, Joe Johnson or Ray allen.

Ellis doesn't deserve a spot over Westbrook, Nash, or Williams

so wait is this a done deal?? cuz if so im good with all 14 except joe johnson.. i mean i know he is good and has had some good games this year but he can be taken out of the hawks lineup and it wouldent make much diffrence IMO...but then again i guess its called all star for a reason.. its (or should be) about the players stats so far and not a teams record.

IMO this is how it should be

West:

Guards: Manu Ginobili, Deron Williams, Russell Westbrooke
Forwards: Dirk Nowitski, Blake Griffin, LaMarcus Aldrige
Center: Pau Gasol(if hes considered) and Tim Duncan (if Yao is injured and if Duncan is considered)

East:

Guards: Rajon Rondo, Joe Johnson, Raymond Felton (or ray allen)
Forwards: Paul Pierce, Carlos Boozer, Josh Smith
Centers: Al Horford
