Right now, Duncan is.

Nobody can convince me 6'6" DeJuan Blair is the Spurs starting Center, who doesn't do the opening tip, and doesn't defend opposing Centers. Splitter and Duncan literally never play together.

He should be a starter.

For everybody harping Kevin Love, please see this page and tell me how many minutes Kevin Love has played at Center this year:
http://www.82games.com/1011/1011MIN2.HTM

He's only played about 190 minutes at Center this season based on their top 20 lineups. I don't think that's enough. He's not a Center.

Tim Duncan isn't putting All-Star numbers though, I say Gasol replaces Yao then give the forward spots to Griffin and Love.

Hopefully Melo gets traded so Dirk can start at PF and Pau at C.

Nene SHOULD start at Center IMO. If your not listed as a Center on the ballot then you shouldn't be considered. Nene has been hands down the best Center on the ballot in the West this year.

Damn the East looks scary, I'm so happy Amare got in over Garnett, and yes Blake should most definately be starting

I also think the East was done right... They have a PG SG SF PF C all playing their respected positions, Melo should be backing up Durant, not playing PF that aint cool. It should be Pau or Blake or Both starting if anything

east is nice... and im from the east so i want them to win.. but depending on who replaces yao the west might be very nice as well.

griffin and love should def. be in it.. if not starting them MOS. DEF. backup.

But Nash better be an alterante. He's putting up ridiculous numbers playing with the crappiest players of all-time.

I don't like shoot first D. Rose starting against Chris Paul. Charlie Brown has more assists than Rose and he doesn't even play basketball.

I would say Bynum should replace Yao out west, but I don't think he's played enough this year to be an All-Star. I'd give it to either Pau, Nene, or Tyson Chandler

Pau,Tyson Chandler, (Nene OR Bynum) in that order

Only if Wade and Lebron wanted Stoudamire, 3 starters in the all star game

Wouldve been awesome

Don't think so. If Bosh was in NY he would have been voted in for sure. NY has way more fans than Miami and Bosh's numbers would have been unreal as Mike D'Antonie's first option. On the other hand Amare would have something like 17/7 as the 3rd wheel in Miami.

It would be sad of Steve Nash is not picked by as a reserve. And Duncan deserves the center spot over anyone in the west. It's going to be real unfortunate not to see two of Dirk, Gasol, Blake, and Love (two reserve forwards, right?) in the AS game. They all deserve it. My feeling is telling me both Dirk and Pau would be picked over Love and Griffin. Now look at their stats and they still don't make it. Pathetic if that happens.

01-28-2011, 05:45 AM
Also east starters are all pretty much the most athletic players at their own positions. wow...haven't seen that in a while. All power ball.

Is that the same Rose that has a 40.2 ast%? It's obvious you don't know anything about basketball. Stick to talking about Cartoons.

Bynum should be in for the West. Maybe as a bench player or something but there isn't a more dominant center than Bynum. (Stats aside because he's our 4th/5th option)

If I'm gonna be honest, the East's starting lineup is unstoppable. Luckily the West will have a deeper squad.

Very solid point. Seems after most of the starters sit down the west will most likely take over with more depth.

It's down low where the West is gonna get destroyed. Dwight and Amare are gonna destroy whoever the West decides to start at PF and C (I'm assuming Melo will be the PF).

Isnt Bynum actually the 3rd option behind Kobe & Gasol?

Either way Nene is a lot better. Besides, why would Laker fans want his fragile *** to go to the all-star game? Once Wade or LeBron dunk on him, he's gonna be injured for another 3 months.

The Center position is dead... Nene, Bynum, Okafor?? Thats sad... Duncan is in no way an all star this year Im sorry... but Ginobili is for sure
