suprised no ones posted this already but anyways what are your thoughts on how this kid would do in the league? on sportscenter he compared his game to Derron williams i think he said it was becuase of his body type and how he trys to replicate some of the things Derron does.

A shorter version of Adam Morrison

man he's getting too much hype. i watched him yesterday and all i see in the future is him getting pushed around in the nba. another case of great college player, nba bust. he should go mid-late 1st round though

point guard Version of tyler hansbrough lol

deron williams comparison is a little ridiculous

and BYU ain't goin far in march madness. they only got jimmer

idk why people r comparing him so much to adam morrison i never saw adam morrison pulling from 30 feet in peoples faces

if i were to compare him to anyone i would say Stephen Curry or JJ Reddick

I think hes a better version of JJ Reddick becuase he can create his own shot and he can drive the ball.

Just throwing this out there: The two top scorers are named Jimmer and Kemba... how strange!

Kids gonna get mashed up.

It really is harder to score when yer opponent is an NBA caliber defender... and you tend to run into those in the NBA... a lot.

Just way too one dimensional.

much better ballhandler, slasher, and finisher than reddick. i love how every caucasian guard with a stroke gets compared to j.j. so pathetic.

Reddick only had an outside shot but Jimmer has so much more. He can even create plays for others. Adam Morrison was not explosive at all and that is what will make Jimmer slightly successful.

This, easily.

Redick could do that too at Duke. You don't score 27 a game or go to the line 7 times a game as a non-center without being able to create your own shot.

Another mid-major sharpshooter who can shoot, but won't do anything in the NBA. Examples: Adam Morrison, Pete Campbell

I dont think he will be too great at the NBA level.
Being a number 1 option in the tiki hut league and jacking up shots is fine and all but he will probably be more of a role player with a good jumper and decent not great skills in the big leagues.

kid has 35 ft range and a great crossover.... he has every runner and floater in the book....crafty around the rim with either hand...most importantly he has an Incredible mind set and basketball IQ...

you can tell he has been practicing Basketball like a madman since he was able to pick up a ball

strong upper body he does have a body like dwill just about 2 inches shorter

he will be a bit of a liability on D because of his lateral quicks...

He is vastly superior to eddie house IMO

Adam morrison is way off

More like Mark price or even steve Nash.......decent to good career maybe a starter maybe not but he will hit shots and spread the floor at the NBA level

He is white. No one wants to give him credit for balling.

jimmer is a great prospect...my concerns are lack of size and he hasnt had to play alot of defense and doesnt really have any experience shooting over 6'7" guards if he is expected to play sg

he is a enigma...and with a nba lockout looming..who knows when we will see what he can do in the nba

I don't think he'll be "Pushed around". He's not really that small, and he's well built. He's like 6-2, 200. Weights more than Wall and Rose....hell, he's probably stronger than half the PGs in the NBA.

Position will be his problem. I don't think he can play SG, and I don't think he can play PG in the NBA either.

You can knock him for the competition he plays, but if you watch him, he really is a tremendous athlete and easily the most skilled player in CBB right now.

IF he really is a great athlete, and the most skilled, why can't he play PG? I've seen his handles, they're pretty nice.

I think he will be a sharpshooting scorer...better than eddie house...eddie house is a one trick pony that cannot create off the dribble,,, jimmer has handles with the best of them...

if he wants to be dynamic he will have to continue to work very hard at becoming a pg.... just not going to be able to hang at the 2 spot defensivly

he will get posted up way to much....if he can transition then i think he has a chance to be a very good starter in the league... if not he will be a role player with a sweet stroke

Steph curry is who I think of. Incredible shot, great handle and plays against weak teams. I think he will go 12 or so.

Loved the last line of Bill Simmons' analysis of Jimmer's NBA potential:

"Remember, as long as you have one elite skill, you can play in the NBA for 8-10 years. Jimmer can fill it. He won't be a bust. I see him landing somewhere between a homeless man's Mark Price and an extremely poor and almost destitute man's Stephen Curry. Could he eventually carry your second-team offense for six minutes per half? Yes. Could he thrive as a spot-up shooter on the right team? Yes. Would you have to hide him on defense at all times? Yes. Would it be fun to scream "JIMMER!" and watch him swish 28-foot 3-pointers? Yes. Would it be fun to have an NBA star whose name sounds like what they called an erection in 1920? Of course. "
