Have fun. Some of those guys shouldn't be in the lotto but whatever.

I really hope the Cavs get it. I almost kind of feel bad for them (I would feel bad for them if it weren't for the dickwad Dan Gilbert).

But Perry Jones, or Kyrie Irving or Sullinger or whoever...are not in the Wall, Rose, Griffen etc. class. This is a weak top of a draft class, IMO.

ESPN machines are BS. Raps drafting that Turkish Player- Enes Kanter on almost every attempt.

That's how Chad programed it thinking we need a big men.

I got Irving 1st and 2nd overall whenever the Raptors landed top 2.

Nets pretty much always get Harrison Barnes. We still got about 45% of the season left to go so the odds could change significantly.

Yea but I would really love an Irving/Bayless PG combo for the future.

We'd obviously draft a wing player if players like Barnes or Jones is still available but Irving is a PG who can be a star and the Raptors has never had a great PG in a while and Irving can be that player.

Before his injury Irving was better than Wall was at the same point in his career. Irving will be as good if not better than all the PGs in recent drafts.

Not always true.

We got players like Bargnani and Derozan who are showing great progression.

Both are paying off/going to pay off more than Bynum.

I'm not drinking the Irving kool-aid...not at all. I don't think there is one thing he does better than Wall...besides maybe turn the ball over less. Wall is bigger, stronger, faster, quicker, more athletic, and just as good of a scorer. Irving might be a better three point shooter. There is no way Irving will ever averaged 15 and 9 as a rookie. Yes, Wall is shooting only 40%, but he's really their only scoring option outside.

Sullinger and Irving are the best players I've seen this year. Not sold on Perry Jones yet... he's taller than Sullinger but doesn't hit the boards anything like JS does. Irving was running circles around the competition when he was healthy, he'd be great for the Cavs, Wolves or Clips.

anyone else notice all the freshman in the lotto?

whats better for the nba, all those guys going straight from HS to the pros, or playing a year in college so they can be evaluated and grow as players? (thats a rhetorical question for those of you who couldnt tell)

Harrison Barnes and John Henson are trash. And if Jared Sullinger doesn't go top 3 somethings wrong. IMO Sullinger and Irving are 1-2. It's a crapshoot after that. I'm not as high as most on Perry Jones. I think Kemba Walker is still being underrated. He looks like (the good) Baron Davis. Euros are a crapshoot too. So many hit or misses. But ya, I'm a closet UNC fan, but Harrison Barnes and John Henson have no business going to the NBA yet.

Good player but seems streaky and kind of short to be a SG at the next level. I think he's better off staying a couple years, wouldn't be surprised if he declared though.

everyone needs to stop babying the cavs, honestly who cares if they get the first pick or not seriously stars have left teams b4 and the teams were NEVER pampered this much. Lebron left, dont blame him either, EVERYONE thought the cavs built a championship team for lebron, but really they gave him a few d leagures and out of prime players. now u can see how good lebron is night in night out and what he had to do for the cavs for them to sniff the championship

Definitely. I said the same thing earlier. Even if we were picking up at 3 or down at 6, we drafted him no matter what. I must've pressed 20+ times until I got Irving and the other guy we got was Selby.

H. Barnes is gonna blow up in Feb/March. He's a great jump shooter and just needs some confidence. I don't think he'll enter this year, he can definitely improve his stock if he stays at UNC. A team of sophomore Barnes and Marshall and freshmen Hairston and McAdoo with Bullock off the bench will be pretty good for the '11/'12 season.

kemba walker is my hero

too bad he is so short....the last few games his shooting % has been way down but his passing has looked a lot better. kemba is also getting constant double teams when he gets the ball

if only kemba could grow 6 inches

I don't think Irving will leave Duke this year anyway. With all the missed time, I think he'll be back to play a full season in college under Coach K. He looked fantastic to start the year and I think he would have had a better year than Wall had. His jumper is consistent.

They're good friends and they play different positions. Rivers would replace Nolan Smith at shooting guard. Irving is the point guard.
