James Worthy was arrested for soliciting prostitution during the Lakers' series with the Rockets. He actually was released and played in the game the next day though Sam Perkins started in his spot.

Kwame Brown has scars on his forearm from cigarrette burns given to him by his abusive father.

Barkley missed the opening game of the 1994-95 season with one of the most unbelievable ailments of all time. Apparently the stage lights at an Eric Clapton concert he attended were too bright, causing him to rub his eyes. A nasty chemical reaction occurred due to the hand lotion Barkley had been using, and he burned the first layer of his corneas.

In March 2002, Woods was stopped by police for speeding. As he rolled down the window of his Cadillac Escalade, marijuana fumes poured out. The police searched the vehicle and found a small amount of grass. When the Trail Blazers rookie was asked for his driver's license and proof of insurance, he had neither. Instead, he handed the officers his basketball card as identification. He was charged with marijuana possession and driving without a license and no proof of insurance.

One thing is beyond dispute: Manute Bol is the greatest 7-foot-7 center from Sudan to play in the NBA. At 15, the Dinka herdsman killed a marauding lion with his spear while it lay sleeping -- a feat his agent noted during his contract negotiations.

Abdul-Rauf hadn't stood for the national anthem for most of the 1995-96 season, but with a month left in the schedule, the NBA took a stand of its own. It suspended the Nuggets' leading scorer without pay until he complied with a league rule that requires players, coaches, and trainers to line up and stand in a dignified posture during the playing of the anthem.

Luke Walton's stalker, Stacy Elizabeth Beshear, was recently arrested. She's pretty ugly, but hey, it's Luke Walton...

Sheldon Williams' wife and brother in law is actually better than him at basketball (I guess some people actually knew this already).

On March 30, Minnesota Timberwolves center Eddie Griffin was drunk and masturbating when he crashed his luxury SUV into a parked Suburban outside a store in Minneapolis.

As they were leaving the practice facility Wednesday, the morning of their final shootaround together, Bonzi Wells and Rasheed Wallace saw Ruben Boumtje Boumtje shooting jump shots some 100 feet away with his back turned to them. Wallace slapped Wells on the back and said, “Watch this.” Then he picked up a ball, reared back and fired a 100-foot, baseball-style strike that left Boumtje Boumtje writhing the floor.

Alvin Robertson gets arrested for kicking a naked prostitute out of his hotel room after deciding he didn't want to pay.

Did you know it is perfectly legal for an offensive player to kick the ball and using his feet to move the ball? So if an NBA player (like Nash say) had some wicked awesome foot ball skills, he could bring the ball up with his feet.

Kick ball can only be called on the defensive player.
