Gilbert Arenas, 8.4 points per game with Orlando with that ridiculous contract. At least Rashard Lewis is somewhat producing.

Super.

rashard lewis and gilbert pretty much tie at this point. both guys are barely producing above a minimum salary level.

WOW I had no idea Micheal Redd is making $18,300,000 in 2011.

Haha. The Knicks finally don't have any bad contracts (besides Curry in his final year) so one of their fans creates a thread about the worst NBA contracts. That's like Al Roker making fun of fat people.

rediculous is the best word for those contracts

Bravo95

It's obvious who should be in the discussion, but when you consider health, Michael Redd has to be #1. At least those other guys are playing and producing.

Reshard Lewis. Orlando has a sigh of relief when we traded that guy out. Mathmaticaly he had the worst contract. I forgot how they broke it down, but it was something 50,000 dollars for every shot he made. It was bad.

LeBron is underpaid more than Lewis, etc. are overpaid.

Agent zero could still be a 20 PPG scorer given starter minutes on a team that used him efficiently.

Someone like Haywood is actually a good starter, like he was last year when he first went to Dallas.

how about carmelo?

his contract is not "overpriced" or "inefficient" per shot but his contract is destroying multiple team (nets and nuggets)

JPHX
01-24-2011, 07:24 PM
we need to do away with guaranteed contracts and employ a hard cap. Level the playing field for small market teams.

Brand and Iguodala both have awful contracts. Michael Redd's is bad and I'm pretty sure Yao's is bad but I'm not sure what he's making when he's injured.

latinofire21
01-24-2011, 08:00 PM
The Pistons - So many bad contracts on that team i dont know where to start.

Kenyon Martin
Rashard Lewis
Greg Oden
Brandon Roy
Michael Redd
Eddy Curry
Gilbert Arenas
Anderson Varejao
Antawn Jamison
Hedo Turkgolu

Who do you think has the worst Front Office?

As of now I would have to go with Toronto, Clippers, GSW, Pistons, Nets, and Nuggets.

The players with the worst contracts are the injured veterans with expiring deals. Michael Redd (not playing) makes more than $18 million; Yao Ming (not playing) makes more than $17 million; Kenyon Martin (just started playing) makes more than $16.5 million. I don't know what's going to happen with all these expiring contracts, considering there aren't many stars available right now.
