“I spent a lot of time on it this offseason. Once I made the decision to come here and realized we had a low-post threat, I kind of backed off a little bit. ... With [Chris Bosh] being out, I can go back to it. I just have to dust it off a little bit. It's no problem.

DOES HE HAVE POST GAME? CAUSE I HAVEN'T SEEN IT...

LeBron: "Sometimes being in the post gets boring."

He gets in there easy enough (i mean whos gonna stop him from posting up) he establishes good position and all that but doesnt quite convert to well from what ive seen in the beginning of the season when he went to it once in a while.

SN: Pat Riley put emphasis on him learning a post game this summer as he did with Magic Johnson before he had a post game. So give it some time it will get there. i dont know if its as poptent as his confidence in it seems though from what ive seen anyways.

I don't believe him.

About 4 years running now they have been talking about how he was working on his post game every single summer....

When LeBron's athleticism withers away as he ages, he will need to develop a post game to remain effective. I can see LBJ ending his career as a PF, it all depends on whether or not he wants to work on his post game.

LeBron has shown flashes of it at times. I agree though that LeBron needs to develop one because once he begins to slow down, it will be necessary. It's the reason Kobe and MJ were still very good when both of them began declining.

He's 250 lbs and is a below average shooter, what the heck has he been waiting for?

The difference between Kobe and MJ, is that their mid-range game was much better than LeBrons. I feel like LBJ will have to take on a KG type Boston role in the future.

if LEbron had a post game he could be legendary, for the ages, that's why he'll never be alegend because he won't work in a way that will make him such

Dust off? That would imply that he's had one in the past. LeBron has never had a post game as far as I've ever seen. If he goes into some kind of post game bananza, kudos to him. But as far as I've ever seen, he's never had a post game. That's whats scary about the dude, is that he hasn't fully completed his game with all possible offensive caveats, and if he does have a post game, oh my.

As if it counts against the Raptors, anyone can look like they have a post game against us.

lebron doesn't have the footwork or the baby hook "touch" to be a consistent scorer in the post. i HAVE seen him post up, and he does not look comfortable at all. but then again, getting coached by same dude as magic could do wonders

How do you say that you get "bored in the post" yet are promising big stuff to happen from the post?

Why is this not in the Heat forum? It is Lebron talking about the Heat and no one else in the NBA.

Well lebron showing so far he wasnt b/s about the post game he used it quite a few times without anyone stopping him so far. Hes just a bit to hesitant at times and could use a little more work on footwork and finishing with the hook but solid post game so far. Who knew

Yeah he should work on his post game more... lets be real, the Raptors are a terrible team that cant stop anyone inside. Dwight Howard yesterday had 31 and 19 in 30 minutes against the Raps. Surprises me that he doesnt use it more often. Guy is a tank, and he needs to develop that sooner to increase longevity in his career. He can be unstoppable if he develops one

LeBron will continue to develop his post game as Wade has. Quietly Wade has become one of the better post up wings in the league. The footwork is key for Bron. He has a couple go to moves & it's nothing for him to bull his way into the paint. What I liked tonight was his passing from the elbows tonight while running the same plays we run for CB.

I'd love to see him take it into the post, that's what he'll need to rely on as soon as the athleticism goes...

I'm interested to see just how much damage he can do. Analysts have been clamoring for him to get in the post more for a while now, and while I don't think he is that good in the post yet he could end up being amazing.
