They are currently up on Atlanta by 41, and the Hawks only have 56 points wit 1 min left in the 4th quarter

They are currently on a 6 game winning streak about to go to 7

Sitting at 28-16 do they deserve some credit with the lack of 1st tier talent around Paul

Or is it basically bc they are owned by the NBA haha

Marco Belinelli is playing well this year. Soon Larry Ellison will bring him back to the Bay Area by buying the team and then he and Dorell Wright can have a rivalry.

Marco is inconsistant as hell, we'll gladly give him up

I would say David West is pretty good

It really speaks to how terrible trevor Ariza is when Chris Paul cant even make hima decent player

Ariza is only here for defense, we knew that from the get go. Of course the game he misses we win by 40 lol

he is only a decent help defender, he is a horrific one on one defender, still think they couldda gotten more for Collison

I think if they had a better offer for collison they would have taken it. It was probably the best offer. I still wish they would had kept him

what is wrong with that exactly? Do you not say "couldda?"

not to mention you have grammar mistakes of your own

I think tonights game goes to show how valuable Horford is to the Hawks. The Hornets have been a surprise so far, but I really don't think they should be given a ton of credit. They are a solid team, but far from being a contender in the West.

If Hornets use Ariza in a swap get Iggy, keep starting Pondexter and develop him !

i'm hoping they get so desperate to unload Iggy, that all it would take to get him is Ariza. too bad we couldnt combine him with one of our many TPE's that would sweeten the deal.

I would say only having 59 points....some teams can put that up by halftime

New Orleans is intriguing. They're very good at home(17-5), average on the road(10-11). They've fared well against the east(14-5), and again, just above average against the west(13-11). They play a methodical type of game, but still aren't exactly a light em up offensive team. Their defense thus far looks pretty good though, and they rebound pretty well.

Thing is, they turn the ball over a bit too much, they rely a bit too much on Paul (which you can't really blame them) and offensively, I just don't know what they're identity is outside of Paul.

They're a pretty good team. And that's probably about it. Maybe because of Chris Paul they have a chance to win a playoff series. But I doubt they're good enough to get homecourt, so probably just a tough first round out.

They still need a piece or two to be truly competitive in the West.

I think Sixers fans would be even more terrified with Ariza than Iggy.

Ariza is even worse shooter and goes sometimes into deep chucking mode:p

Doesnt iggy have issues with some of his team mates? maybe they want to dump him for a resonable offer. Im thinking Ariza and Thornton is decent enough. Might be wishful thinking on my part

CP3 doesnt have the same stats as he had once, but he has the biggest impact of all players in the nba
Also Okafor, West and Marco are playing very good

Re: issues with teammates. Not really. There was an overblown nudge on Turner last week that some thought was meaningful, but most thought was nothing. Everything else is based on speculation which, in my opinion, is mostly driven by Philly fans' frustration of having a bad team, and naturally blaming the non-super-star best player.

Re: Ariza and Thornton. Definitely wishful thinking. If anything, it'll be young bigs and picks that get it done. As far as we know the FO turned down Batum (who many are very very high on) + Pryzbilla (who sadly would be an important part of our big rotation) - so he's not going to come cheap.

NOO, they barely beat the Raptors and the only reason they did beat the Raptors is because the Refs made horrible calls. I should know because I watched the game

Ok got ya, thanks for clearing that up. We have no depth with big guys so it wont happen lol
