We’re halfway through the season, so now is an ok time to check this out. These stats are accurate as of January 19th (before the games played that day).

*The “Block Recovery Rate” is blocks recovered by the defense (blocker’s team) divided by total blocks; a higher % means that the blocker’s team came up with the ball more often than not, which is a very good thing.

Pretty interesting. Doesn't seem to affect the top 10 very much though, just a bit of shifting.

I would love to who has the highest blocked shot recovery rate of all-time. Minimum 1.5 bpg. Any guesses? I'd think Duncan stays near the top. Obviously Russell was notorious for starting fast breaks with his...

Really makes you wonder how guys like Dikembe-Hakeem-Ewing-Zo-Robinson would rank if we had that data available.

Great stat! First thing I thought when I saw the thread title was how good Camby is at keeping the ball on his side. And sure enough there he is jumping from 10 to 3.

Duncan and Camby are also two of the best when it comes to Blocks/Fouls ratio.

Besides Bogut for top blocker. Get ready to see Larry Sanders top of that list soon once he don't get garbage minutes. He had a 8 block game in his 18th game as a rookie. I cant wait when he averages 30+ minutes a game. Instead of being buried behind Gooden and Ersan and Moute and Brockman. I can't see Sanders getting s a triple double a few times a year with the blocks, boards and points.

goes to show a guy like Howard, who just smashes the ball out of bounds, is actually not helping his team like guys who just get a hand on it.
No need to kill it into the 18th row. Been saying that for years.
