Not a lotta teams will want him if he's not willing to coach his teammates.

Blown out of proportion. Turner didn't take the shot, him and Spencer Hawes were arguing about it, and Iggy gave him a little shove to get back into the game / OR to tell him to take the shot.

I'm not mad at it.

Most in the Sixer forum didn't think it was a big deal either, although some saw it as evidence of Iggy's supposed hatred for Turner.

I don't think it's much much of anything at all, and if there weren't already rumblings to move Iggy then it nobody would've even noticed.

Iggy for Jackson or Wallace with a few other pieces involved. Iggy needs a change of scenery.

i dont see it as a big deal. I think turner was talking **** to someone or the ref and iggy bumped him to tell him to shut the **** up and play. He had an open three and almost lost that position for not taking that open three

It was Hawes, who was saying (and gesticulating) that Turner should've shot it.

If Iggy went to the Suns, he'd do pretty well IMO as long as he doesn't go too trigger happy.

One of the most over-rated NBA Players. He's extremely overpaid and id like to see his Team winning with the Money he's making. Cant even shoot a lick.

How does this guy have any trade value?

LOL Evan Turner was never supposed to be a star let a lone a superstar and he was never supposed to be drafted that high. People believed the hype, now they're getting bit by it. The majority of NBA scouts did not think he had a lot of potential because he does a lot of everything but he does a bit of everything poorly and he has the ability to dunk on a lot of people but he avoids contact. Just removing Iguodala would not make Evan Turner better. Also Evan Turner is a rookie he should be treated like one.

Also...how was Landry Fields a steal. He was exactly what the scouts thought of him. Immediate NBA talent but low potential and he was drafted based upon that.

Geez i'd trade my vet's if they didn't tell a rookie how to improve, and that "elbow" doesn't even class as a love-tap.

Exactly.

None of these guys apparently have played with a younger sibling, freshman, or old friend on their team. When they are attacking stupid, like Turner was arguing with Hawes, you or someone who has been on the squad longer or is older pushes them or slaps them upside the head to "get their head in the game:

Sixers are a playoff team and basically got their without much from Iggy this year. Brand is not a problem.

Landry was the 39th pick of the draft. He leads all guards in rebounds, guards who get regular minutes like D-Wade. He was Rookie off the Month for November and December because Wall was injured, but still impressive because 2nd rounders usually never pan out. Definitely a Top-5 Rookie so far, which means he's a steal, considering how low he was picked. Plus, Seven+ Rebounds is really impressive for a guard his size.

Did you mean player? He's above average height-wise for a guard.

And that works well to his advantage. A lot of players in the NBA are over-sized for their positions and it really helps. Landry Fields primarily plays Shooting Guard for the Knicks, But he also played the Forward position in college. At 6'7, he's a tad over-sized for Shooting guard.

But being tall for your position doesn't always guarantee success

so he was basically telling turner to shut the **** up, no problem with that, turner probably talks too much anyway if it's drawing that kind of reaction from iggy, not to mention hawes even getting upset with him for not shooting

Anyone who even pays attention to 76ers ball knows that this wasn't a big deal in any way.

It was Evan's shot to take he didn't Iggy gave him a slight jab. Anyone who has ever played a sport with players who are older and more seasoned would know what Iggy did and why he did it. There's nothing wrong with this.

Iggy's comments, as posted by Tom Moore (Sixers reporter) on an un-nameable forum and the Liberty Ballers blog:

"It wasn’t about the shot he did or didn’t take. Spencer (Hawes) wanted him to take it and he didn’t. They were frustrated at each other. I was just letting Evan know to stay confident in himself. I don’t care if he takes the shot or not.

"Evan kind of reacted. I was upset because of how he reacted. You have to stay on an even keel throughout the game. He’s a rookie. Sometimes he has too many guys telling him what to do. I was just letting him know you can’t respond to everybody."
