Does this annoy anyone else? It makes me so mad for some reason. I mean I was hearing it in November. Jesus, it's corny enough as it is, can you not just wait for the last few games of the season?

Do I have to listen to MVP chants every time I watch Kobe, Durant, Blake, or Love go to the line?

I know I deserve it for watching the Clippers and the Timberwolves, but in all seriousness, please tell me none of you partake in this douchey act!

Kaiser Sose!

But anyways, I think it's kinda cool. I remember getting chills when Josh Hamilton came to the plate and all of Arlington was chanting MVP.

no for me its just like a mvp of the game type of thing for many players

i mean obviously nobody thinks monta has a chance at mvp but when he dominates games and warriors just win because of his perfomance why not cheer mvp?!

I only find it appropriate for a guy like Derrick Rose or a Kobe Bryant, but it's quite undeserved and annoying for other players who are far from MVP type level.

I don't mind showing your love for a guy like Monta but not before the all-star break!

Yeah like a handful of guys and like the last few games of the season

No problem here, its a sign of appreciation. You have to wonder though when a player goes into somebody else's court and still gets MVP chants.

Umm, no. I only got to go to 2 games this year and they were earlier in the season.

You are right. Why make this thread when I can make a thread about some idiot (Melo) causing drama.

Or maybe another thread about who is better: The Knicks or the Bulls? Felton or Rose? Amare or Boozer?

This is one I actually enjoy. New Yorkers know what's up!

The only time it bothers me is when it's the home crowd chanting MVP for an away player.

I don't pay much attention to it but it is silly if someone undeserving gets it. Unless his name is Chris Duhon.

I only like to chant MVP when Malik Allen gets to the line. Cause it's gotta feel good to get at least one person yelling it in the stands.

What's next, a thread about how much someone hates when the home fans chant "DEFENSE" when the visiting team has the ball?

It annoys me, not gonna lie. Dwight, Durant, and especially LeBron are alright... and I guess Kobe, but I still hate him.
