View Full Version : Is it just me, or does Miami know how to finish a close game?

Miami has been missing players with injuries, and have had a bunch of games go down to the wire. I havent gotten to watch every game, but every time I hope on the NBAdotCom, and I see Miami is down by two or three with a minute to go, they always seem to end up winning the game.

I think this is going to be huge when the playoffs roll around.

What do you all think about Miami closing out tight games?

I think it's simply a reflection of Lebron, Wade, and Bosh being able to get key baskets when it counts. And stops, too.

Is it me or is every other thread about the Heat or Lebron James?

while i dont want to be the negative one it's important to remember who they were playing when they closed out those games. i am btw impressed with the heats play lately, but keep in mind from what i remember recent games, some of those teams were either below .500 or without a key player-

Last night, Blazers showed they had no closer. they looked lost with that lead with 2 mins left in the 4th.

Washington- Had just made that trade and only really played 7 guys. (no john wall either)

Bucks- went into overtime but no Jennings again to close down the stretch and make smart plays. it came down to CDR to try and make something happen.

These are the games I remember and again i am not bashing the heat (there's a guy on here who thinks any thread or comment on the heat is bashing them and thats not the case). it's just important to keep those little details in mind. Heat are fortunate to have 2 guys who can close. and theyre taking advantage of it like they should be, so that's great for them. they'll be tough come playoff time.

When you have dwade and lebron, who be doing this for years, on the same team its easy for them to close games

I think this is obvious..

Wade and Lebron on the same team.
