How many times has your franchise had a top 5 player in the league in any given season and when?

Wilt era, Doc and Moses, Charles Barkley, and AI. 4 times probably about 12-15 seasons out of the history of the NBA a top 5 player has been a Sixer

Patrick Ewing back in his prime I think would be considered a top 5 player in the league in the early to mid 90s, and Amare Stoudemire this year. I'm only mentioning the years I was alive and following the team. I'm sure Walt Clyde Frazier and Willis Reed were up there too.

RObinson was def not top 5 at anytime during his carrer not with guys like jordan, shaq, malone, hakkeem, barkley (thats 5 right there) still in there prime. Not to mention stockton and pippen who got more all nba first team selections than him. maybe top 10 but not top 5.

well actually he might be right man.

you had jordan, pippen which I dont care what anyone says was a top 5 in his prime, hakeem, ewing, malone, shaq, barkley, you could argue such players like kemp, stockton, the glove, and a couple others and yes I did watch robinson play. he was real good and would easily be top 5 if he played now, but it was just too stacked back then man.

mvp doesn't necessarily mean your a top 5 player. if lebron was injured half the year he would be still be considered the best by most. This thread is about top 5 players not top 5 mvp candidates or who's having the best season this year.
