Haven't seen a thread about this subject a long time:D

When we are talking about bad FT shooting, shaq comes to everyones mind but some of you doesn't know how bad FT shooters the league has:sigh:

FT FT% Career FT%
Brendan Haywood 17-61 .279 .608
Andris Biedrins 5-20 .250 .512
Lou Amundson 8-26 .308 .469
Ben Wallace 14-42 .333 .416
DeAndre Jordan 35-77 .455 .398
Shaq O'Neal 59-107 .551 .527
Rajon Rondo 16-39 .410 .621

Andris Biedrins (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCWU6rWwe6g)
Ben Wallace (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtPuFG014Gc&feature=related)
DeAndre Jordan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ut7nja5pJ9I)
DeAndre Jordan 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dt6M0i7TUMk)
DeAndre Jordan 3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsV-sYhIfko)
DeAndre Jordan 4 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmGM6akrVps)
Rajon Rondo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSfP8HR7dOY)

So who gets the award?
IMO DeAndre "Air" Jordan is definetly the best at airballing the FTs but the worst from charity stripe is hands down Ben Wallace.

I think Rondo is the worst because of his position. A primary ball handler cannot shoot that low.

If Josh Boone was still in the league, he'd be on this list.

I feel bad for Jordan. He should jump at the release at the free throw line, like a mid-range jump-shot. Sure it would look stupid but its better then air-balling it.

Holy ****, I didn't know Rondo was shooting that pathetically at the line.

Honestly, every player should shoot at least 80 percent. It is ridiculous that isn't the case. These guys are PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYERS. They stand at a line with no defender and get a free straight up shot. How someone who is a professional playing at the highest level of the sport cannot be successful 8/10 times amazes me. The best players in the world struggling to make free throws. Ugh. Sickens me.

everytime biedrins is fouled everybody is like "alright lets skip this **** and give the ball to the team that fouled him"
same goes for amoundson

just so painful to see these 2 on the court at the same time..

Shaq actually surprises me this season.. Hes usually worse then this. Definatly Rondo's the worst. I do not respect Rondo because if he was on the Raptors or Kings or a crappy team like them, he would have less then 8 assists per game

Actually, Ben Wallace is LITERALLY the worst free throw shooter in the history of the NBA. So, its pretty hard to argue with him.

Anyone know what the deal is with Rondo sucking at the stripe? Is it a big hands thing?

BTW I think it has to be Jordan. The other guys are on severe downswings, which can happen over a small sample size. But Jordan with .398 for his career is abysmal. To some extent his entire career is a small sample size, but still, that's horrible.

How can you look at the stats and not say Ben Wallace? He's been so piss poor for so many years, it has to be him. Deandre is trying, but he'll get that average up by the time his career is over.

Ben Wallace FTW!

Rondo has to be the worst on that list there is no excuse as much as Boston fans try to defend him...the other guys have a valid excuse cuz of their size.....

so the worst is Rondo and then i say Amundson

Its almost like a "who doesn't belong". You just don't see a guard shoot that poorly from the line.

Ben Wallace shooting 33% from the line this season. 416% for his career. Once shot 27% over an 18 game playoff run.
