Is it possible to win both Rookie of the Year and Comeback player of the year?

To win comeback player of the year is usually a player that had been injured for an entire or most of season or someone that was just awful. Griffin was injured all year last year but never player a regular season game before this year. I think there is an interesting gray area here and I wonder what your thoughts are.

Would he qualify or comeback player of the year or does he not qualify because he never actually played a meaningful game?

The NBA does not have a comeback player of the year award. At least not since 1986.

its most improved player, and even if it were comeback imo he would not qualify.

he isn't "coming back" to anything. this is the first time he's ever played in the nba. doesn't make sense.

He can win the guy with the most dunks and double double?

He didn't play a game last year, so there is no stat to improve on.

No one can win those 2 awards at the same year; they are mutually exclusive.

He can win the guy with the most dunks and double double?

Only if he gets more double doubles:
