Are Most Sonics Fans of the OKC Thunder or have they become Fans of near-by Teams like Blazers or Warriors?

Most Sonics fans took their life after they moved the team so I don't think there's many of them left.

Great idea for a thread. I've always wondered this myself.

Considering Durant was in Seattle when he was drafted and is now in Ok City, I would assume most are still fans of that team.

I just assumed that they stop following the nba for the most part.

If Detroit moved to a different city i would follow that team. I would have no choice.

Do they even show OKC games in Seattle? I'm guessing not so that's why I assumed that they don't follow the nba anymore. The fans are no longer invested in a team

welcome to the age of streams and league passes.showings on local tv are no longer needed to follow a team

When the Hornets left Charlotte, I pretty much didn't follow a specific team until the Bobcats came around.

The casual/normal sonic fan wouldn't go through that much trouble to follow a team that isn't even theirs anymore....

Yep this is why I still follow them. I have taken a liken to the Blazers cause of Nate being the coach, and Roy but the Thunder are my team.

No. The only Heat bandwagoners are in Miami. Orlando is way more fun to watch now.

Life long Sonics fan, and I'll never be a Thunder fan. Its hard to cheer for the Blazers since your entire life growing up as a basketball fan your told to hate the Blazers. I still dont get how people say they're Sonics fans and they also love the Thunder.

As for teams I follow now, I've always liked watching the Suns, been a Lakers fan since I went to my first NBA game in the early 90's when I saw the Sonics took on the Lakers. Always been something about the Clippers that I've liked, Spurs, Nuggets, Mavs, Knicks.

I'd assume they would follow the Thunder since it is their franchise basically. Obviously attending home games no longer exists which sucks. If not, I would just follow the Warriors. Hopefully Seattle gets a new team though, I like the idea of the Clippers should go up there.

Most hate the NBA in general; few even follow it in the slightest.

I'm a Thunder fan, but I'll always be a Sonic fan first.

I just assumed that they stop following the nba for the most part.

This for the most part... Except for fantasy basketball.

I guess I would consider myself a slight fan of the Blazers. However, I don't make an effort to watch their games or anything of that sort. I'm just glad to see them get a W.

The team I probably pull for the most is the Knicks. I've always been a huge Amare fan.

Oh, and I couldn't care less if the Thunder win.
