going off of right now solely, i say spurs. in 3 months who knows what could happen, cause i fully expect LA to play better than they have lately. seems every year there's this drama with kobe calling out his team, phil calling pau soft etc... and theyre always successful

Lakers no doubt

Suns without question. Anyone who says otherwise is just biased. :)

Right now, I say Spurs but it's hard to go against LA in the playoffs.

Spurs, if EVERYONE on that roster stays healthy. Lakers are so deep they could probably sustain an injury and still make the Finals.

right now i would pick either Dallas San Antonio or LA i really cant decide

however i would love to see the thunder or nuggets make it that would surprise the whole league

no one thinks the mavs are finally going to do it?

They have a bad playoffs history, so people are a little skeptical on them.

Spurs.

If Presti would get his head out of his *** and attempt to trade for a big, OKC could make some noise. But we're not getting anywhere close to the Finals with our current deficiencies.

Nah. The lakers or spurs would handle them in a best of seven.

homer pick... Lakers. I just think come playoff time they'll be fine. LA still have what 51 games to go this year? Plenty of time to right the ship, and as bad as they're playing they're tied for 3rd out west.

Mavs... LOL! I will never consider them as legit contenders. Dirk's teammates always choke in the playoffs, although Dirk himself always plays great. To go into the finals, u need to be a tough-minded team, which Dallas, Utah and others don't have. LA is far too talented, and the healthy scoring-balanced Spurs can represent the West no doubt. Thunder are still missing the final piece to truly be considered a contender, and Hornets are still not close to being considered. I still think if Melo stays, Denver can be a darkhorse contender. They are one of the toughest teams in the NBA and play very physical. Last year they never had their Coach, but year before, they had the same team and almost took down the LA champs. Their physicality is what can make them contenders, their toughness, if there healthy and Melo is still in sky blue & white, I think they can go far and surprise.

I think the TRUE ACTUAL contenders in West are; Lakers, SPurs. and a surprise can be Denver.

Lol@ the 22 ppl that chose the Lakers. It's almost like they don't watch the games. Anybody who has seen this years version of the Lakers would know that they have a 0 percent chance of making the finals this year. Kobes washed up, Gasols tired, Artest and Fisher are both done. I mean when your best players Lamar Odom, I'm having a hard time seeing a Lamar Odom led team making the finals let alone winning it

Lakers are the best team in the league until proven otherwise. Postseason will tell all. They have the better opportunity than the spurs and the mavs. Why Utah is even part of that poll is beyond my imagination.
