I actually agree with this to an extent, he chucks when his team shows no passion. But he chucked a bit too much tonight IMO, haha and I'm a Laker fan. It's fine though... this thread should be closed, I've seen MJ have terrible shooting nights like this before, no biggie.

Spurs deserved the win, they played terrific, really like their bench.

For what it's worth, just saw that he missed 13 straight shots tonight (4 turnovers in that span). Most ever consecutively missed shots in his career.

I still think they'll end up fighting back when it's all said and done (though in no way do I think they'll 3-peat), but that's pretty dreadful.

In before lock... Really Kobe does this about 5 times a year so why is there a thread on this goddamn it's ok to hate the man but don't make it so obvious Kobe will bounce back and in a big way by winning number 6 but in the mean time mods close this stupid thread

Kobe is overrated, but I've stated that already. On that note, the Lakers will still be elite.

PostGame: Kobe Bryant Takes responsibility for today's LOSS!!

"I couldn't put the ball in the basket, and it snowballed from there. It's my responsibility to make them. Things just kind of fed off me not being able to make shots, and everybody else started not being able to make shots. I just gotta put the ball in the damn hole. It's my job and I gotta do it." - Kobe Bryant

Pretty much sums up the game vs. the Spurs. Kobe needs to keep his FGA somewhere in the 17-22 range. Gasol needs to be assertive and aim for 13-16 FGA per game.

Kobe had a bad shooting night, but he isn't a chucker. Just go look at his TS% and recognize he was averaging 1.3 points per shot attempts before tonight.

True. Lucky for Kobe nobody will remember this game if the Lakers win for the third year in a row in June

Every bad game a player has isn't worth a thread. This is no different.
