he is a decent backup but anything more than a 2nd round pick, and any back up player, and your paying too much. I personally think he is not great. Decent back up but not much more

I wouldn't mind him on the Spurs to back up RJ, but I think the Suns would ask more than he's worth to deal him to their rival.

It seems like they want out of his contract due to having too many wings. There were rumors of us asking for Azibuike and Randolph for Childress and a pick. So far no team wants his contract.

I wouldn't do the Outlaw deal though. We need a either a backup SG or a future pick or something. But certainly not a bad contract in Outlaw. He won't find playing time.

I think he would be good on the Spurs, Nuggets, and Celtics.
He also fits into the Knicks mold of Big 2s or solid 3s with good defense and rebounding.
Childress would work well a sub for Chandler or Fields.
Bucks, Jazz, Portland on OKC would be nice too.

that contract will be hard to move considering he is a 7th or 8th man on any good teams.

Oh wow, I didn't know how much he's making. No way the Spurs bite.

I would take that in a heartbeat. Flip the 1st, Gallo and Curry's expiring for Melo.

PG: Raymond Felton/Toney Douglas
SG: Landry Fields/Wilson Chandler
SF: Carmelo Anthony/Josh Childress
PF: Amar'e Stoudemire/Shawne Williams
C: Ronny Turiaf/Timofey Mozgov

I wonder if the Warriors want him..

they have expirings of BadVlad, Brandon Wright, Dan Gadzuric, and Charlie Bell(expires next year).

His contract is like Maggette all over again, however, they are desperate in bench productivity..

The guy has a career 10.7 ppg and is a pretty good rebounder (career 5.4 per game) for a wing man. His career 2 and 3 point FG% are also decent. I think a lot of team could make use of him, but I do agree he has a pretty bad contract.

Raptor's could possibly use him. With Kleiza going the other way? Although it seems like that sort of deal would just be spinning the tires.

Childress has limited range. Not what we need more of.
