Where does the nba draw the line on taunting?

Pierce was a bit smug with his little lap of honor when he hit the game winner... That kinda **** can cause riots and fights in the crowd. Not hugely intelligent and respectful, but intelligence and respect are the last things I expect from him....

Once a visiting player takes a dump at center court to end the game that's when you draw the line. Anything not as bad is fair game IMO.

I just don't understand how the refs and the league are so uptight about arguing foul calls but when it comes to ridiculously excessive celebrations, it doesnt matter.

I think as long as your celebration is not directed at an opposing player you should be ok, just like the way they do it in the NFL.

I can remember when the Rockets had the 22 game winning streak and the Celtics went to Houston and ended the streak, they were very demonstrative at the end of the game. IMO tonight's display in NY was also going overboard by Pierce.

Hey Knicks fans please quit ****ing crying. I'm sure you have no idea of how much taunting Paul Pierce had to put up with the whole night before that shot. Silencing MSG is probably better then any sex or drug on this planet.

Well seeming as how Dwight got a tech for clapping and another for signalling "and-one"... I guess any motion towards the opposing team?

Only Dwight gets called for those.

Lebron was flashing his guns toward the sidelines and the refs just happily looked on (not hating-- I love showmanship).

IMO they should allow more leeway for taunting. I hate Pierce, but I saw nothing wrong with what he did.

Taunting= making big shots by the other team even better next time down the court. Who cares you wanna ruin something more about the NBA? It's already weak enough now a days.
