Stephen Curry hit his 200th three Pointer last game at dallas, going 3-5 From Down Town. He now has 34-78 Threes for the season (43.6%) , and 200-458 threes for his career. (43.7%)

Thats amazing. His 2nd NBA season isnt even over yet and he has 200 I wonder how many he's going to finish with when its all said and done? The thing that amazes me the most is not his 3's Made, But 3pt%. He's got a Nice Shot.

Giving some kind of numbers for comparison would help. What rank is he for fastest all time to 200?

Steph broke the record for threes made by a rookie. He's the fastest to 200 as well. Kid can flat out shoot (in traffic, spot up, however), it's ridiculous to watch night in/night out. Numbers would be much more imposing if him and Monta didn't share the guard load.

Brooks lit it up from three last year (led the league). Bears mentioning that it was his 4th year in the league, and took 150 more threes than Curry though...

Aaron Brooks wishes he was Stephen Curry.

Curry is an amazing shooter, and will go down in history as one of the top 5-15 shooters of all time at this rate. If he can continue to build an all around lead guard game, he will enter the conversation for top PG's as well.

Just for perspective... Reggie Miller is the current all-time leader in 3 pointers made in the regular season (2,560) and the playoffs (320). Ray Allen will likely break the regular season record this season (before tonight's game vs Denver, he has 2,484).

I think Stephen Curry is still under-rated. He is my favorite non-homer PG to watch and I hope he becomes one of the greatest guards the game has ever seen.

Last year was his 3rd year in the league, and his first year he only averaged 11 minutes a game.

This thread isn't about Brooks, it's about Curry.

To the OP- I loved watching him in college- Curry's a great shooter, one of the best in the league currently. If he keeps it up people will be talking about him as one of the best shooters for years.

so? Brooks is a very good shooter, but he isn't as good as Curry. Brooks made, and TOOK, a lot of three's

I was so hoping that rumored pre-Draft trade went down between the Suns and Warriors.

It's a shame that a SG like Curry has to play PG cause of Monta. I can only imagine what he could do if he played SG...

Always been a huge fan of Curry since watching him here in Charlotte.

I had a feeling he would be extremely successful in the NBA.
