He didn't. He said 'Crawford is worth more than Werth' both words were spelled accurately (even if the last name Werth was left uncapitalized) ;)

actually, i even see the angels balking at the price he will be asking, that werth signing is a curse for contending teams !! only the yanks can lure him if lee ends in texas

i heard he's asking 8 years $180 mil!! not that he'll get that, but he will definitely sign for more than werth and when the red sox, angels, and possibly yankees are all bidding on a players services, he's probably going to get paid...

I have a feeling that Cliff Lee will resign with Texas. So my guess is he will sign with the Yankees 7 years 140 mil.

If that happens i think we would have to trade and outfilder and a prospect not named montero for a pitcher. I think if we were to trade swisher away we would have plenty of speed and power balence

Crawford is younger, that explains his entire advantage over Werth in terms of value.

If they were both 28 and both got the same terms I have no doubt Werth would outperform CC as he has the last 3 years.

People are far too impressed with a guy that steals 55 bases over the fact his OBP is meh at leadoff and his OBP & SLG is meh for a LF. Don't be talking defense either. Werth is a well above average LF, if not as good as CC, but Werth is a better CF and an excellent RF, and CC can't play RF - unless he was on the LL diamond that is because his arm blows.

It's all down to age, don't fool yourselves.
