Amare has lead the NY Knicks to a 12-9 record to start the season. He has been filling up the stat sheets, while completely dominating the opposition. He has lead the Knicks to a 7 game road winning streak- The longest in 15 years, 1994- 95 season. He is 6th in the league in scoring- 24.8 ppg, and has lead the league in scoring throughout the last ten games at 28 ppg; 11th in blocks per game at almost 2, while chipping in with 9 rpg. While the numbers might be impressive, the more important fact is that he has set the tone for his team defensively. The Knicks are a completely a different team with Amare at hand, winning 9 of their last 10 games, leading the Knicks to their best start in almost a decade- And they're only going to get better. Overpaid? I don think so.

If he played defense and boxed out he would be worth 100 million, unfortunately he doesn't do either of those two things.

the Knicks are winning some games now. We have gone from Amare is a horrible deal, to Amare is a steal.
