This. And when Carter is in Toronto there's probably not a louder crowd in the nba.

I once went to a Boston game and they were deafening. And this wasn't big three celts, we're talking back when Delonte was their second option.

As a heat fan it kind of shocked me to be honest. Heat fans nowadays are total bandwagons. Although I remember the good ole days when we would play the Ewing era knicks. Absolute chaos.

Its decent loud for a bad team. When the Knicks are good it is crazy. The atmosphere there is insane. Got to be old enough to remember though lol.

2 words....Championship Complacency.

They are used to winning the title so thier hunger for making noise isnt the same as other arenas.

This has to go to either the W's fans at Oracle or the Jazz fans in the Delta Center. Year in year out they're consistently making their presence felt; you can't shut them up.

Portland and OKC both have great fanbases also, and like some have mentioned, I don't know if it ever gets much louder than Arco when the Kings are good. But the other fans bring it every year.

The Garden is probably not among the loudest now after such a dismal decade, but it is still very rowdy at times considering how bad the team has been. It was unrivaled in intensity in the 90s.

Arco stands used to shake for sure. You could feel it in the floors during offensive possesions, and the defense chants overpowered the refs whistle.

I think for consistency Oracle has to take it, that place has been full for years. Even through the losing seasons. Bay Area fans are just passionate.

Oracle (Warriors) is pretty intense. They've got loyal-*** fans who've been putting up 16 years of constantly no playoffs, except for 06-07, which affected my hearing ever since.

Energy Solutions (Jazz) is loud for sure.

Rose Garden (Blazers) is a loud arena.

It's tough to say considering I've only physically been to about seven or so of them. The loudest that I've ever heard a stadium was back when LJ made his 4-pointer...that place was absolute pandemonium.

I don't find the intensity to be the same in most places like it used to be, but TD Garden gets loud, MSG gets loud on certain nights, ARCO, Air Canada etc.

Back in the 90s though, that was intensity. MSG was as loud as I ever heard any arena, especially when you had teams like the heat or pacers come to town. Damn do I miss those days. I've been wishing for those rivalries to heat up, but the players are too soft. You won't see STAT, LBJ ande Wade knockin around like Oakley, 'Zo, LJ, Starks. Sigh.
