Who has been underwhelming so far?

I though Buddinger or whatever his name is from Houston was gonna be a beast this year. Still early though and he has had some good games.

I thought Tyreke Evans was going to be even better than last season, but his shooting has dipped below 40% (even though his 3-point shot looked better at the very start of the season). I just hope that Sacramento team doesn't implode, I loved them last year.

I also think Bucks PG Brandon Jennings did not improve over the summer. This might also be because the team is facing some injuries and because Salmons and Maggette are struggling.

I would like to say Wade too, but he is probably just figuring things out, and I don't want to upset Heat fans or make this into another Heat thread.

Thoughts?

Joe Johnson was strugglin' pretty mightily (for his standards), and now he's out for a couple months; so there's that whole mess.

I though Ariza's percentages might actually rise with an elite PG at his side, by that hasn't worked out too well for him.

Also, Hedo Turkoglu has proven to be terrible (not sure if that was expected or not, but he does get to play alongside Nash this year, so I'd assume most people expected a resurgence).

Wade, although he's played great in the last 2 games.
Evans
Durant, he's shooting absolutely awful even if he;s the leading scorer, taking tons of just dumb bad shots
The whole Cavs team
Jennings

I mean, are players who are injured to start the season even worthy of mention here? Tyreke's ankle was no bueno. But I just think of the guys who were fine to start the season, but just haven't produced. Reddick is another. Rashard Lewis. THere are few others obviously

Joe Johnson, Tyreke Evans, OJ Mayo, DeMarcus Cousins, Brook Lopez, Richard Hamilton, Brandon Jennings, Evan Turner, and so on and so on and so on. Many disappointments this year so far.

The Plantar Fasciatis is hurting Tyreke way more than his bum ankle.

ugh, I forgot about that. That is no joke either. The only way to get better is to sit. It crushed most of Wally's season back in 03-04'

how does that injury even occur? I see it so often these last 2 years, and never even heard about it before that.

Brook Lopez had mono, it takes a significant amount of time to get back after that because you lose muscle mass

Yep. I'm all for sitting Evans as long as it takes for him to get healthy but I doubt it happens.

Lopez and Dudley for Phoenix

Which Lopez? Mine or yours??? Lol they both are strugglin. It's like when that egg split inside their moms womb, their skills were distributed unevenly. Robin has no talent and Brook has no nuts... Don't you wish we could somehow combine them and then clone them so both our teams could benefit? Brook has NO toughness he's so soft. His brother hustles and plays tough. Brook can't rebound to save his life and plays with no heart.

I think its a new relatively new condition, I think they went by another name or it was just an underlying condition of the actual injury.

yeah John Salmons too

I thought Salmons/Maggette would at least be better for the Bucks than Redd/Jefferson. Not so much as it turns out
