As of now gotta go with the homer pick Will the Thrill, hes playin lights out. But I see either Mayo or Odom winning. Be Great to see Shaq or Gilbert win it tho.

I'm assuming that your thread is discussing the season so far, and so far Odom has played zero minutes as a bench player.

You can make a better argument for Shannon Brown or Matt Barnes from the Laker Bench. But all seem undeserving.

I see some Laker posters hate on that bolded statement there.

Wilson Chandler 16pts almost 6rpg 2bpg shoots 45% from the field
IF it wasnt for this guy coming off the bench we would have lost some games keep it up will

Where in Sam's Club is Jr Smith's name on that list, I know he can be a knuckle head at times, but he has been under control since GK lit a fire under his @ _$. Even whe he's hasn't been under control he's finished top 3 in the Sixth Man Category the past three years, He's always a threat to be Sixth Man

Wes Matthews for sure

He was my pre-season pick for 6th man but I like Jason Terry as well.

Will the Thrill!!!

a lot of guys here were mostly starters here than coming off the bench

Miller has not played a game yet...

and by 6th man as in someone who is a backup and occasionally starts a few games because of injured starter it would have to be Wes Matthews

Wilson Chandler

Right now I would say Chandler, Matthews, and Shannon Brown. It looks like Matthews will probably get too many starts to be in consideration, so that leaves Chandler and Brown. The lakers starters are so dominant it's hard to notice Shannon and when odom goes back to the bench, is Shannon even the best sub on his team?

Think you need to ask george karl that question.

Not saying I would pick him, but I think Charlie Villanueva should be on the list. I would probably go Matthews or Chandler.

I can't remember this much talk about Knicks players positive performance in all my time on this site. Fields is among the best rookies this year, Chandler is a legit 6th man candidate, and soon we'll be pushing Amar'e for MVP on all of you. j/k

you have Mike Miller who hasn't played a game all year, and no JR Smith, I'm not sayin JR Smith deserves to be 6th man by the way he's been playing this year, but he for dams sure deserves it more the Mike M.

the majority of those players have started many games this year so i don't know what would count as 6th man but I would say wesley matthews. however he is now starting so who knows.

Slimsim
12-05-2010, 07:49 PM
Wilson is Starting now so He might be out of 6th man of the year consideration

eggy10
12-05-2010, 08:45 PM
Matthews has been a starter lately and i doubt its gonna change as well as Chandler so idk if theyll be in the running for it. I think Chandlers more likely to go back to the bench though and get 6th man.
Then theres CJ MILES and JR Smith who arent even on the list that i think have a good chance.

I thought Wilson Chandler was starting now? Or is this just because of an injury to someone else?

chandler and terry both look great right now. wes matthews has also been impressive.

You have the wrong Celtic on this list. It should be Glen Davis; not Shaq. Shaq isn't even a bench player...

When Ronny Turiaf returns he will most likely slide back to the bench:
pg - felton
sg - fields
sf - gallo
pf - amar'e
c - turiaf
