12-02-2010, 07:15 PM
Probably the worst list I've seen.

Nash at 9?
CP3 down at 13?!?!?!
Pierce at 14??
Bosh at 15??

Im not even gonna bother going through it all

why not?... you think Nash should be higher? not even top 4 pg in league. Yes CP3 needs to be higher. Pierce is on his downfall, yet still a very clutch player belongs in top 15 atleast. And PLEASE dont tell me that you believe Bosh should be higher. What has the guy done? should be down to wear Westbrook or Granger is and swap spots with one of them..

I think all but CP3 should be lower.

I am confused on how you would possibly think I would want Bosh or Nash higher.

Also having VC and Turk on that list is asinine.

i agree completely. While i am a die hard bulls fan, and love DRose, i do praise westbrook for everything he has done and the player he will become. very big insult to have him at 30, and such a huge gap between him Drose, and Rondo.

Seriously. All three should be top 20, maybe even top 15. But I mean, it's one article, not really a big deal. Just a pretty pathetic list nonetheless.

From the 1st to the 50th, there are so many issues with the list it's funny just to pick it apart...

I wouldn't take Kobe over LeBron...
I wouldn't take Hedo over Griffon...

How many of you would take Iguodala over Hedo ???

I believe the poll was conducted before the season started. CP3 is totally justified if you saw how he played when he returned from his surgery.

Love, eh, could've been in the top 50 but before the season I don't think many people considered him top 50. I know known of the people in my three fantasy leagues thought so because I got him in the fourth round or late in all three drafts. :D

it obviously had to be before the season, but Paul that late is still no bueno.

And I am not worried about where Love ranks quite honestly. The less respect he gets, the better. When the Wolves need to re-up him, they will get a 20-14 player for his prime for a huge bargain compared to what his contemporaries puts u

Haha, Love is gonna get paid just like Marc Gasol is gonna get paid.

The general population might now recognize their talents but NBA GMs sure will!

I disagree as well, but this list looks like its sort of based off of last season which is why we see Nash ahead of Paul because he led the Suns to the WCF and CP3 missed most of the season. I'm pretty sure it'll be way different at the end of this season.

The list was done before the season started and the people who contributed to the list are

SN asked 76 NBA types, including Elgin Baylor, Bob Cousy, Mike D’Antoni, Mike Fratello, Daryl Morey, Lenny Wilkens, Doc Rivers and Stan Van Gundy, to list the top 50 players in the league. Bryant received 49 of their first-place votes to maintain his spot atop the list, while James had 22 first-place votes and Magic center Dwight Howard received one.

Not saying this list doesn't have is flaws but its not like a random blogger came up with this list.

Kobe could be Yoda old and get 1st place votes from ex players and coaches. They view winning as the only thing that matters, and the true gauge of a player. Not saying its right or wrong, just saying many ex players have a skewed evaluation technique
