LeBron. They burned his jerseys, tore down his posters, and cried! This is going to be epic!

I think it's safe to say this one will be 1000 times worse.

I cant even remember VC's return. This probably bound to be worse.

When the supposed "best" player in the league leaves his team by annoucing it on national television, the fans burn his jersey, the owner spends hundreds of thousands to investigate a non-fruitful venture concerning the issue... I think you know which way this is going.

VCs return was bad. They burned jerseys n stuff too , they boo him just as bad now as they did in his return......but as bad as his return was......they didnt have to call in extra security and have ppl stationed by the bench like they are apparently doing with cleveland....lebrons should be an epic one

I actually do fear for Lebrons saftey. If somone here goes to the game you should make a thread about what you had to go through to get into the game. I'm seriously curious about the security they'll have at this game.

Stupid Thread like why do you make this when it's obvisuly going to be LeBron, no it's going to be Vince even tho people forget he ever played for them, or despite the fact he played there already after he left them

Not even close. Quicken Loans Arena will host the most hostile crowd ever in nba history tonight.

Juelz36

Lebron's is going to be worse simply because of the way he handle it.

Kyben36
12-02-2010, 07:08 PM
tonight is going to be worse than Kobe and the 76ers, this could get ugly.

Lol I actually want a thread too of people who are actually at the game tonight because Im curious about the security theyll have to go through to get in the stadium too. Is it going to be like airport security with pat downs and stuff lol?? I never did understand why stadium security is nowhere close to airport security anyways. Hmm blow up a plane with hundreds of people on it or a stadium with thousands???

Oh, LeBron's return, for sure. When VC came back to T.O., I don't think we had to amp up security as much as they are in Cleveland tonight (if we did at all, I could be wrong, it was like 5 years ago).

But yeah, this is arguably the most anticipated "return" since Wince Carter to Toronto... And yes, that was a W replacing a V infront of: ince.

Tonight will be not only be the most hostile crowd in NBA history, this will be the most hostile crowd in the history of sports. We have never seen and likely will never again see anything like we will tonight. So try to enjoy it.

That would be disappointing. If there aren't gun wounds and rioting I will be disappointed.

I'll laugh if nothing happens and they chear Lebron and thank him for a good 7 years.
99.9% this^ will not happen, but what if?

Nah. I could name a good number of other encounters that were more hostile than what I expect to happen at the Q tonight.

People forget he played there? :eyebrow:

Lebron's homecoming is no doubt the bigger of the two. Lebron is arguably the best player in the world. He was the next big thing and the City of Cleveland were fortunate to draft him. He was suppose to be their saviour, the guy who would win a title for a city who hadn't won a championship in over 40 years (I think thats the longest drought in pro sports).

:laugh2: There's no doubt that VC played his best whenever he came to Toronto and that booing just fueled him.

Weak stuff by Cleveland fans. This game had so much hype with all the security and the news coverage. The only way it beats VC's return is if a brawl broke up.

I'm a TO fan, and trust me, I was DISGUSTED with the way Carter handled things (and I think he handled them way worse than LBJ did, at least LBJ never tanked his performance aftering signing a huge contract), but I have to say, LBJ meant WAY more to Cleveland than any sports figure I can think of (certainly at least in basketball) meant to fans of Toronto in any sport.

LBJ was Cleveland. The city has never won any pro-sports titles and he brought them as close as they have ever come, and was practically a native son. the response against LBJ in Cleveland will set the bar for negative fan responce among all sports!

Michael Vick wouldnt even get as bad a responce for pitting dogs against each other, which is actually kind of sad since Vick is actually EVIL rather than just a quitter.

VCs return was 1000x worse. It was nonstop hate on the guy start to finish. I wouldnt doubt the next time he goes to Toronto it would even be worse than tonite with lebron. Hell Toronto taunted the **** outta Dwight worse than this?!?!?!?!

Yeah, I expected LeBron's first game back to be way worse then what we gave Carter when he returned. It hasn't even been close. They don't even care anymore, it seems. Its barely audible when he touches the ball. But they're also getting their *** handed to them, so that might change things, but still. The Cleveland fans are classier than we are, that we can be sure of.

VC Reception > LBJ Reception  I'm actually shocked, but it shows that us Toronto fans are ruthless, lol.

Much like the Miami trio, last night was way too overhyped for how it ended up...the VC return to Toronto was much worse, ****, I expect the Bosh return to be even worse than last night.
