He's been tearing it up and looking like a good young talent. His team just pulled off a top 20 upset against Florida. Central Florida is undefeated. He's a sophmore and his numbers this year are -

17 ppg
2.7 apg
2.0 rpg

FG% 56
3FG% 48
23.5 mpg

Looks like we may see another Jordan in the NBA someday in my opinion. What do you guys think? The kid can play.

Someone will draft him in the second round just bc of his last name and hope

not next draft but possibly if he stays another 2 years in college.

He is averaging 17 ppg in only 23.5 mpg?? That's pretty damn good. I saw he put up 28 points in only 19 minutes in the first game of the season. Looks like he can score a lot in a small amount of time.

He'll get drafted just because of his name, regardless of whether he puts up those numbers consistently in college or not.

Even if he was playing bad he would get drafted because of his last name I wouldn't be surprised if it was to the Bobcats

I've watched him play and he is pretty good. He is fearless and has a nice swagger. If he stays in school and improves his pt guard skills then it is possible. If he can lead his team to a top 10 or top 15 ranking then he'll definitely get some more attention. Wether in the states or overseas, he is going to play pro somewhere if he wants to.

I suppose the team, who drafts him, hopes that Michael Jordan's work ethic and mentality is inheritable

If he continues to shoot like that, he probably warrants a draft pick.

His name won't hurt, Ewing's kid continues to get tryouts and he wasn't even good in college.

If he stays hot the whole season he might have to put his name in the draft while his stock his high, he might get hurt next year or have a drop off.

with their schedule, he should have great numbers this year if his coach plays him significant minutes like last night against Florida.....pretty tough though when you are blowing people out by 40 or 50 points to leave your starters in there though.......man some of those scores are foolishly lopsided.

If he can shoot 90% from the FT line, and 50% from 3, those are better shooting numbers then his father had at that point in his development :). Question is, can he jump like his daddy? Looked like he had some hops at the jordan tourny...not legendary though.

It would be pretty cool to see another Jordan succeed in the NBA. He's definitely putting up some nice numbers in the PT he's been given at UCF, but I haven't gotten to watch any of his games so I can't say for sure if he's destined for the NBA.

College Season stats and championships are all well and good, but its usually the combine and work outs that determine the rookie's ranking out of the Draft.
