View Full Version : How good will Lebron be when he gets older?

I was wonder this for awhile and actually got into a debate with my friends about this the other day. When lebron gets older and cant just run by people or just over power them, how good will he be? He has no post moves, and people guard him far away because of fear of his drive, he really isn't consist at shooting deep shots.

Obviously his vision and defensive skills will still be top notch, but as a offensive player is he really going to be that elite?

Guys develop their games as they get older. We'll have to wait and see.

I expect him to have a lightsout jumper when he gets older, while his athleticism will drop, but will still be very high.

It all depends on how hard he works on his game. If he worked on it he could have a dominate post game and if LeBron could get a more consistent jumper he should age even better then Kobe.

It's really up to him he has all the tools.

He's going to be exposed..just like he is in Miami right now. That is what seperates LeBron from Kobe. If you take the drive from Kobe, he can shoot over you. If you take the drive away from LeBron, he's streaky at best.

If he can develop that part of his game, he'll still be dangerous when he gets older.

Give it 4 more years and he will have to change the way he plays. He better keep developing his shot because he won't be able to rely on his explosiveness in a few years.

isnt he already 45?

the refs have always let him run people over and travel so he pretty much has no incentive to change his game. i think it will come back to bite him. that is why you are supposed to learn basketball fundamentals before you come to the nba.

again, enough with the Lebron threads people... they ALL become baiting threads...
