Could he possibly be the best player the nbdl ever had?

But seriously, is he becoming a big problem like another williams did in New Jersey , Sean Williams

Nothing tp do with talent, problems and rules violated so much

he was fined multiple times for showing up late to practice and still did it. good move by nj, shows that they arent tolerating any ****. and i hope t-will realizes that too. hes really a talented player.

I remember hearing about his attitude problems before the draft but I thought under the right circumstances he would straighten up. Good to see the Nets taking action and showing zero tolerance towards lack of discipline. It will serve him good, the guy has a lot of potential and it'd be a shame if it went to waste because of his immaturity.

Im not surprised if it has to do with maturity issues. He had problems with the coaching staff last year when they recommened him to drive more instead of settling for jumpshots.

Hopefully he can get his act together, I really like him.

Not trying to be funny but I actually want to see him go against nbdl players just for the fun of it

It will be like jr smith plays one on one every play

He was the nets 6th man then literally the next day w/ joe schmoes

MJ-BULLS
11-26-2010, 07:51 PM
too bad for him.
he was the once that got himself in this. but he could possibly become a men among boys down in the nbdl. i think a new start with a new team would do him good once he gets his act together.

what in the sam hell is he doing? It has to be more than just showing up late.

This sounds like more of a blowing tree's situation to me........

I highly doubt the NBDL will help someone with their maturity issue...if anything this makes him more full of himself, he will completely destroy the competition.

maybe he doesn't like playing in jersey or maybe he's just tardy. the world may never know...

im not sure he will destroy them; there's always some good talent there.

If he doesn't dominate, it will be a huge reality check

He's a pretty mediocre player, better than the d-league though.

Mediocre player???? Wow.

Any 6th man on an NBA team is not mediocre! He would start on atleast 8 teams in the league

He would crush the nbdl easily, those players would make the 14, and 15th chair on the bench on an NBA team come on now

I love Terrence Williams' game, and though I dislike the Nets, good for them. He reportedly has been late multiple times and holds little regard for team rules and regulations.

Avery Johnson tried fining him a few times, and then benching him, now the DL should really wake his *** up. If it doesn't, the Nets might want to ship Terrence off somewhere.

If he plays on a good veteran team like the Spurs for example (totally hypothetical), I think he could be a star with some tutelage.

Props to Avery, I hate when coaches cater to problem players because of there talent. In the end of those guys will never be winners. They just bounce around the league from crappy team to crappier team.

Crazy. He needs a fresh start with a new team. He can ball.

It's his 2nd year in the league. If he needs a fresh start already, he needs to change his attitude, not his team.

trade him so the fans don't have to suffer... he's good for the league and he's fun to watch

Really, because the stats say otherwise.

Lets look at them, Last season: 8.4 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 3 APG, 1.6 TOs, 41% FG, 31% 3PFG.

This season: 7 PPG, 4 RPG, 3 APG, 2.5 TOs, 40% FG, 36% 3PFG, 50% ft.

You could argue that he only gets around 20 MPG, but on a 12 win team everyone gets a chance to prove themselves, if he had played well last season the coach would have given him more minutes.

Wow. Didn't expect this at all. If I recall correctly he put up a triple double on us last year or the year before that. Dayyyyum

I normally highly encourage young players who need more development to play in the D-League. I actually think it needs to happen more often with more players in the NBA. However, I don't think it may be the right move for someone like Terrence Williams. It should be for players who need more development, players who need to boost their confidence as well as players who may not be ready to perform at the NBA level yet and need more experience. It can also be used for players coming off of an injury and not quiet ready yet at the NBA level. I have reason to believe there may be problems with Terrence Williams behind the scenes. He seems like an established NBA player who can perform on any given night. I wouldn't think he needs to go to the D-League. I actually think the opposite of that, he probably needs more minutes.

He's also the 6th man on one of the worst teams in the league so he probably would be the 7th or 8th man on a lot of other top tier teams.

Numbers don't tell the whole story. He's very talented, but also inconsistent. He started playing really well towards the end of last season and showed a lot of promise coming into this season. He's only played in 8 games. He got off to a rough start this year and then got injured.

BTW, Kiki Vandeweghe was fired for a reason.

Man. Crash and Burn season for T-Will. He was on top of my list of guys of possible guys to breakout but his season went the other way around.

The kid is talented, no doubt about it, so this is a real shocker. I've always felt he had a great attitude but coming late to practice over and over is a concern.

Because although he may start for a team like the Golden State, he would be the 2nd or 3rd player off the bench for teams like the Lakers, Celtics, Magic, etc.

Yea no s**t! Your talking about two of the deepest teams in the NBA. Danilo Gallinari would prolly rot as a reserve on the inactive list for the whole season. That's how deep they are

Kings Lineup:

C) Sammy D
PF) Landry
SF) Casspi

What is so great about Williams? Seriously, people talk about him like he's a friggin' all-star and his stats, though varied, are not very impressive. And he has attitude problems! I wouldn't give you Corey Brewer for him.

I JUST DON'T GET IT.
