this whole Heat thing has been a fail from the start. Makes that whole Championship celebration they had look even dumber.

This is kind of premature. The author clearly seems to be speculating.

If Haslem is out for the year, then so are their chances of winning a title.

So you got a frontcourt of Bosh, Dampier, Anthony, Z and Magloire?... Yeah, they aren't winning this year.

Mplsman

That is a big rotation loss for Miami. Nobody feels sorry for them though.

If he was their saving grace for winning a title then they probably were never a real threat.

thats not the way to look at it. He's not our saving grace, but he is definitely our 4th/5th best player, and one of our best defenders. He's clutch, his mid-range game/pick 'n' pop is on point, he's a beast on the boards, and he draws charges like nobody's business. So yeah, losing him for an extended period hurts. He's the blue-collar guy that every coach loves to have.

Obviously it's not as bad as losing a Wade or a Lebron....who will likely be our 'saving grace' when it counts. Juwan, Big Z and Dampier are gonna have to have some serious games for us this season. Getting Mike Miller back in Dec-Jan will also be a huge boost.

And then there were 3. What are the odds their two most crucial role players would get injured for siygnifanct amount of games of sesaon? Hows that Maurice Bezy trade looking now? Look on the bright side Don Hamsom and Meg Miller, you won't have to get sexually assaulted by guys at the airport every road game of season! Im only kidding Hamsom/Miller, say high to the kids for me, and the wife. Who's she doing anyway? Whoops, I mean How's she doing? As in how hard is she doing it, and if its harder then me! Im kidding, say high to the wife and kids for me.

what is this about?

I wanted to see Boston annihilate them personally, and this brings that one step closer to happening.

Which mean LA v Boston - Round 3 (hopefully with everyone healthy)

Call me crazy but they need his toughness and rebounding to even stand a chance against Bostons front line.

This would be for the tie in title totals (Celtics at 17|Lakers at 16) or for the Celts to seperate themselves.

Yeah losing Haslem makes that frontcourt even worse, he was their best interior defender. Not sure how Dampier is going to pan out with them if he signs but he is better than nothing.

That's the poster MO to intentionally get names wrong and throw random bs around, I have no idea why mods haven't done anything about it yet.

They lost their best interior defender. I'm sure the Heat will find a way to still come out and compete.

Do you really think they won't go anywhere this season? They might not win it all... but it is naive to say they won't be in the dog fight for that ring.

Yeah a single digit loss on the road on a back to back game is the same as losing by 20 at home.

Anyways, it was a joke. I dont honestly think the Pacers are better.
