The Cavs have a tough b2b tonight. I hope they show me more than they did last night. Their final score last night was deceiving, they player terrible & then hit a few 3's right at the end to make the final margin look close.

They are very weak in the paint... not to mention, they also get abused at the PG position. Miami is a very vulnerable team, they'll easily get knocked out of the playoffs.

The bobcats need to trade Diaw and start Tyrus thomas

and the Bucks and Cavs need to step it up tonight against the Thunder and Spurs!! So it will help us in the standings

DerekRE_3
11-20-2010, 10:49 PM
Or just start Tyrus. If they traded Diaw they'd only have Kwame Brown to back him up. Tyrus is having an awesome year though, he has a PER of 23 so far this year. He just needs more minutes.

Shoulder i believe. He played through it last night but it obviously had its toll on him. I was watching last nights game and i think they also mentioned he was fighting a small cold. I guess they figure on a back to back its to much to ask for a regular season game.

I might as well give up now and be a regular HEAT fan, I guess. I'll just go sit under a rock until my team gets a decent player, since obviously every player on the Bulls is awful. And once we get a few decent players maybe we might actually have a shot at selling out a home game for once and have a team worth watching again!

Honestly, you guys shouldn't complain about all this fire from other fans because of your team's "decent" and not "dominating" start to the season. Have you forgotten about July, August and September when you all didn't even let other fans talk about their teams because you couldn't stop gloating that the Heat will destroy everyone and win 70+, G.O.A.T, etc? Now that you see most of us were right when we said its gonna take time for this team to gel, and it won't be as great as it seemed, your feelings are hurt. So yall just gotta man up and accept this fire cuz its gonna keep on coming until your team turns it on and plays like you all thought they would.

Please find me a quote where any HEAT fan that didnt just join in july 2010 said that. PLEASE!!! Ya but that was like his first 3 years when they got Shaq and up to the championship season in 06. After that it sort of went downhill to the point where yall won only 15 games in 07-08 and then pretty much mediocre after that. So not as overly worth watching than the Bulls as you're making it out to be.

Ya but that was like his first 3 years when they got Shaq and up to the championship season in 06. After that it sort of went downhill to the point where yall won only 15 games in 07-08 and then pretty much mediocre after that. So not as overly worth watching than the Bulls as you're making it out to be.

Thats 15 win season wasnt a wade team as he didn't play. And ur right we were mediocre still what did that make the bulls if they were even worse. My point exactly. Your right i may have put in one to many ">" my apologies. I retract that statement and leave only 1-2 ">".

We had these dudes named Gordon, Hinrich, Deng, and Wallace. I think we "mustered" up enough the past couple of years. ;)

The Heat are weaker than I thought. In all honesty, I'd be very surprised if they made it out of the first round of the playoffs. Too weak in too many areas - no bench, no post presence, mediocre at the PG position... it's basically just 3 good/decent(Bosh) players carrying a non contender team.

They won't make it past the more solid and complete teams in the EC.

Fri 19 @ Dallas

You had only 1 respectably significant victory in those wins (denver). Portalnds hobbled, GS is making strides but how good they are is still far to be seen. The rest of the teams are not even worth mentioning and the losses obviously come from playoff teams to contender

Meanwhile we have a margin of victory of around 20+ pts and a margin of loss around 6pts and agains really good teams so far no less. The worse team we lost to is probably a playoff team now and off a game winner. Youd be right if we lost to lets say NJ, Boston, PHX, and Utah and won against others but we've had good close losses where it could go either way (except the boston games). Nowhere near the same and just a bad example.

In regards to the 73 wins that was a SVG remark i chimmed in and said it could be possible probably not this year but with the amount of talent i could see it happening. But by no mean assured it happening or "gloated" about it.

Well not according to bulls fans. Who gloated with "we can beat the heat" "we have a better team". But this wasnt about that now was it. Your post was about us not being able to use time to gel as a reason for loss and u tried to back it up with the bulls quality of games win/loss which as i proved arent better. As we've for the 3rd time stating this have a higher margin of victory than u (and most teams in the NBA) and one of the smallest if not the smallest margin of loss in the NBA and to 3 really good teams no less and a game winner today. The Bulls–Heat rivalry began once the Miami Heat became playoff contenders during the 1990s, a decade dominated by the Chicago Bulls. During that period, the Heat were eliminated three times by the Bulls, who would go on to win the NBA championship each time.

Move over dnewguy, I just found a poster more ignorant than you. Congrats Hoopsadvocate.

Being called ignorant by a child lets me know im definitley not thank you for the compliment. And if u take a second to get out of ur childlike hate bubble and look at my profile and what some respectable posters have to say about me ud know i am nowhere near such. And its obvious ur just resorting to baiting to make urself feel better now. Which is my que to let u go play with the other kids.

I see u still dont understand. Just because i say ketchup is red (which is a fact) doesnt make it relevant. Meaning ur facts which i agree are facts arent relevant, mine are. And ahh the bad english on a forum never seen that before. That shot is usually taken by a desperate person who no longer has anything meaningful to say on the subject. lol

I'm being desperate? You refer to me as a 12 year old and ignore the posts that make an actual point.

Now its wait will midseason to evaluate? what happened to judging them now? and all the criticism about the games now? just cause ur backs against the wall and cant handle the criticism u said nobody should complain about u chnage ur mind huh. I get it... i think my point is proven

Backs against the wall? Criticism? Towards the Bulls? We're 7-4 without Boozer. And no one even cares about the Bulls. And the hype around our team wasn't anything like the "Neil Armstrong about to step on the moon" hype the Heat had. Sorry, but I just don't get what you're saying.

Its simple. I originally just said we were more relevant recently (even before lebron) than the bulls. U tried to refute that but were obviously wrong. U changed the subject ever so slightly to we no longer being able to use gelling as an excuse. I didnt agree and i stated why in terms of quality of wins/losses comparing both our teams (ONLY because u used the current bulls as a reference). So while u started off so critical of judging the HEAT now it all of a sudden changed to lets wait till midseason to evaluate. I then called u out on that comment as it makes no sense considering how u started getting into this with me over the HEAT/bulls now. And here we are!!!

That was my personal opinion i didnt say "u guys suck lol , rose should have asked to be traded a while ago and join a real club" or some ignorant thing like that. Its widly accepted that the HEAT are a ecf to finals team and the bulls and mavs are not. If it were a boston and laker fan who started the baiting then i would not have said that. Its a very reasonable thing to say sorry you took it as such but then again i didnt realize u were a little kid back then and didnt know ud be so sensitive on the subject. How long are you going to have fun with the kid stuff? 18 years old is not the age of a child. I was backing up my team just like you were backing up yours. Lastly, accepted by who?? HEAT fans? Until this HEAT team actually gets to the ECF, they're no where near being a lock.

Try ESPN, the gm survey, and other analysts as some references. They all have boston/miami and some even orl to make it that far but no mention of the bulls as far as the east.

Hey, what has the current Heat squad done? Jackshit. What has the current Bulls squad done? Jackshit. So they are at the same level. You can say that the Heat have more talent and potential, but you cannot say they are a better team. You can say you believe and a lot of people along with you that they have the potential to be an ECF team, but you cannot say that they are because their current core has never gotten there together. What I am getting at is that the most talented team and the team with the most potential sometimes dosen't amount to jackshit look at the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees (Yes, they are good but their talent and potential compared to the Giants). I would argue that the Clippers have more talent and potential than most teams in the league yet they have the worst record. So don't say the Heat are better than the Bulls because they are not. Until the Heat prove they can do something they aren't anything.

NO u didnt i never said u did. Like i said i was just stating an opinion, that doesnt mean i think u said something.

For example. I could say right now i think lebrons jersey will sell more than rose jerseys this year. Im probably right considering all thats happened in switching teams and the early high selling amount of his jersey in the pre season. But just because i said that doesnt mean u ever said rose would sell more. I was just stating a opinion just like u were stating one about the heat earlyer to start. Except u guys seemed to get easily offended by such small comments i guess

Your absolutley right. I was just making a point. From the beginning that these other people criticizing the heat and there fans so much even when we came into this thread saying congrats and trying to be good about it still get hit with negativity so i had to show them how they have no right to do so because when i make a little remark (based on some truth) they go crazy. Maybe now they will look in the mirror and think twice before they talk as they got way madder over an insignigicant comment than i ever did for this loss.

In regards to the 73 wins that was a SVG remark i chimmed in and said it could be possible probably not this year but with the amount of talent i could see it happening. But by no mean assured it happening or "gloated" about it.

And your last sentence. SO its not okay for me to defend my team but its okay for u to complain about me trying to defend my team? Ya okay.....
I am not that every1 defends their teams sometimes to a fault its just that miami is the target just dont take every diss to your team as a personal attack unless of course it gets personal:D. Alot of other heat stans talked **** you get what you get now because of that not necessarily you but if you are gonna talk **** be prepared to take it and back it up with no excuses thats all I am saying.

But Blake is already an elite rebounder, while Amare isn't by far. Since when are the amount blocks a better indicator for good defense than good position D?

Rebounding is a team effort. Amare intimates people when they come into the paint which force them to turn the ball over or miss a layup that wouldn't have been miss if we still had lee.

Okay....and that means what?

Did they have any idea that Miami would struggle this much in the beginning?

Did they have any idea how atrocious your bench really is?

Did they have any idea you guys would have injuries to Mike Miller and Haslem now?

Just because they say so doesn't mean ****.

Remember when half of ESPN chose the Bulls to go to the ECF after we signed Ben Wallace? Well that didn't happen did it?

The fact that you are struggling so much without any injuries to the big three (until Dwade's shoulder injury) shows us that Miami is no where near ready to go to the ECF.
You realize you have three of the top players of the game, 2 considered to be by some 1 and 2 as the best players of the game right? Yet you guys are struggling so much.

While the Bulls have one scorer right now who gets double teamed on every play, with our second best player being out since the beginning of the season, and to alot of us Bulls fans, this is the best team we've seen even without Boozer since the Jordan era....this team hustles on every play of every game, we've been in every game and had a shot to win every game.

Very true, but they all went to Miami so they're 8-5 :)

Couldve had 2 dynasty's in the Bulls and Cavs IMO oh well

Being an overrated team IMO of course is good enough for them

Talk about irony. Lebron with the Cavs would have a much better record right now.....

wow, just wow.
