How many players on your team can get you 15+ points consistently?

Doesn't mean they will average 15+ ppg on the season, but let's say out of 80 games they get 15+ points and the other games they get 10+ points a game that would mean they can at least half the time consistently give you 15+ points.

For instance for the Bulls I think we would have 5 players (Rose, Boozer, Deng, Noah and Gibson (off the bench)

Nash, J-Rich, and Warrick. Pretty much all rotation Suns could go off and score 15+ any given night, but those three are the ones you look to have those numbers consistently.

Also maybe Jordan Farmar and Outlaw with good games

wow guys... some of you are really stretching it... If the player you have written down is averaging less than 12-13 points...he doesnt fit. Obviously anyone can score 15+ one night in the nba...the question is..who on your team will do it consistently.

For Miami I am going to keep it at Wade, Lebron, and Bosh.

Sure, guys like James Jones, Udonis Haslem, Eddie House and Mike Miller can all put up 15... but they won't do so in a majority of games... so they don't count.

Also I mentioned players that could do it roughly half the time or even 40% of the time which would be about 30 games.

I'd go Dorrel Wright, Monta, Curry, D. Lee, and Reggie Williams (tho' his minutes have been limited this year). So 5 on any given night if given the minutes, with 4 of them actually getting there virtually every night.

I agree. I think JB's definition gives people some leeway but damn people are taking it too far.

On the Knicks: Amar'e, Wilson Chandler definately with Felton and Gallinari on the cusp.

Hey Rip. Honestly... I think Bynum, Daye and TMac could also give at least 15ppg if given the minutes. That is the problem with our team right now. Too many guys who can score, not enough guys who can score and defend in the post.

this.
15ppg isn't hard for any volume shooter. And a volume shooter is created simply by telling a player they're the best guy on the team.

Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom. If Bynum were healthy, him as well.

Kobe and Gasol can consistently give you 20+ a night and have the ability to take over whenever they want. Odom is a great compliment to the both of them, being that he's excessively stepped his game up thus' far this season. If Bynum makes a solid return, watch out... they might become completely unbeatable (just saying).

Artest' scoring has decreased since coming to the Lakers but we've seen him get streaky, he still has the ability to score when needed...Shannon Brown, IMO, is showing us that he should be starting and could really become an effective player. He's putting up bigg numbers for us off the bench. Barnes and Blake were simply amazing pickups for the bench, they fit in perfectly and are taking advantage of every playing minute.

Dear PSD. There are 55 players in the NBA that average over 15 ppg. That averages around 2 players a team. Yes some teams only have 1 or 2 that could average 15. Therefore others can have 3 or 4 on a team.

No team has or ever will have 7-8 players average 15. if 7 did they would score 105 per game. if a player got 20 or 30, the number would change.

Last tidbit I have to say. No players average a point a minute in the league over an entire season so your scrubs that don't average 15 mpg cant average 15ppg. And don't make an argument that they should get the minutes, because they don't. All NBA players can score in bunches but they don't get the minutes if they don't deserve them. Defense matters.
