From what I gather the League picks 2 captains and then picks the rest of the All Stars"including the fan vote".All the players would gather on a televised event on all star weekend and the 2 captains pick players one by one like on the playground when you were kid. "no east or west" down to the last player. Thoughts? Dont wanna be last picked that's for sure.

That would be cool. I would also like to see the 'old' guys play against the young ones.

No, the NHL way is stupid and would be even worse in the NBA.

I think it would be worth a try, I also feel like it would be effective in Basketball if perhaps they shot for teams. How many pick up games have you played where you shot for your teams? The only problem with this of course is its the NBA we may be waiting awhile so a drafting of players by two captains would be a nice change and could make for a very competitive game.

Why does the all-star weekend matter so much? I stick to competitive games

Who even watches that garbage anyways, are the players going to all the sudden start playing defense this way?

This would be great! It would show which players the players really like. Though it would suck to be the last guy picked. lol

I heard this in the news and I thought it would be perfect for the NBA.

Sounds like it could be fun. Why not try it one year?
