What is Amare doing that Lee didn't do last year? Lee had a better midrange shot and D as well (Lee's D was subpar).

Eh, the defense is a tossup.

Amare will block a few shots, DLee would literally avoid contact in the lane.

Amare shoots a lower FG%, averages 6 TOs per game and lee is a much better passer.

And Amare's contract is bad, I mean really bad.

He draws double teams which make guys like chandler TD and gallo hit easier shots

Is he mainly driving or taking a lot of jumpers, cause he's FG% is really low right now?

He takes more Jump shots now. But that's because when he's in the paint he gets Double team on sight

But it seems Lee exerts more effort. Amare is more athletic though.

Im a betting man and I just bet on Boston plus 2 over OKC and Portland plus 7.5 but I did cover my tracks with LA on the moneyline for a win and Boston still plus 2 (Portland fans I just covered my tracks in case, always do when it comes to money. These 2 games in addition to my NFL betting).

Yes I am going with Portland and Boston also though, only homers think their teams are invincible at home, all teams lose and in my opinion today is a good day for the Lakers and OKC to lose.

I don't know about that. That's not homerism, just being a supporting fan. If one, as a fan, does not think his team can win at home, then he is not a fan.

Just running and running, without stabilizing an offense.

Do you think the Lakers should revert back to their starting lineup when Bynum returns?

Not sure yet. Obviously Lamar won't keep up this torrid pace, but Bynum could be well suited for coming off the bench. It would force the bench guys to pass it in to him, so he could get his touches, instead of when he's in the game with Pau and Kobe and doesn't get as many looks. We're only 7 games in, and I'll just trust whatever decision Phil Jackson goes with.

Either way, it's a great problem to have.

Phil has already said Bynum would start when he gets back.. Bad move in my opinion seeing as how Pau and Lamar have great chemistry together at the moment. But moving Pau to his natural position would be a good move.

J4KOP99
11-08-2010, 01:24 AM
Usually with Lakers teams coached by Phil, you get a more laid back style of play. They coast for 3 quarters and then turn it on in the end.

This year we are seeing something totally different. Kobe and Co. are out for blood and they are making some statements early on. They are scary good right now.

Wilson
11-08-2010, 03:39 AM
I think Kobe has only taken 23 shots in the last 2 games. He seems to just want to pass the ball around early this year, he's been doing it well as well.

Lamar has been great for the most part, 21 & 12 for him last night.

Yeah, Kobe I'm betting is gonna cruise until the playoffs. He's still not healthy either, needs probably till the allstar break to reach full strength. But the bench has been spectacular with Brown, Blake, and Barnes.

Get this Kobe is playing 31.3 minutes per game this year. And is putting up 23 ppg, ~5apg, and ~6rpg. Pretty efficient, and pretty good pace for him to be going thoughout the year. He'll probably keep distributing, and when his team needs him to close it out or take over at time, he'll do that too.

The Hawks always start out hot in the season and fall back into mediocrity once the players get bored. Anyone else notice this?

He seems fairly healthy to me. Perhaps his knee isn't quite there (just don't ask him about it :p) but other than that he seems healthier than he's been the last couple of years. His lower minutes are more to do with his age.
