So either Wall or Griffin.

I'm picking Wall only because I could see Griffin getting a season ending injury.

Assuming Griffin stays healthy, it's him, and I don't even think it's remotely close.

Not even after the game Wall had?

He was 1 steal way from getting a triple double.

What has Blake Griffin done for his squad? A few highlight dunks and a 0-3 start.

John Wall is beasting on player right now. John Wall wins and I don't even think it's remotely close.

Other than average 16.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game? Not that much.

And two turnovers away, too. It's one game. Over the course of a long season, I'll go with the big man over the point guard. A big man almost always has a better chance of putting up more impressive numbers across the board than a point guard.

He's been extremely productive and efficient. And there isn't much of a difference when comparing Griffn's 0-3 record to Wall's 1-3.

Wall is getting close or over 21 and 10 for his start.

And he has about +2 SPG.

Wall's 24, 10 and 4 sure beats out what Blake is getting now.

And it would actually be easier for Wall to put better numbers IMO because the Wizards HAVE to rely on Wall where the Clippers have Kaman, and Gordon alongside Griffin.

That was towards the "I don't even think it's remotely close."

Also I don't care that much about stats, especially when the team is WINLESS.

I highly, HIGHLY doubt Wall averages even close to 10 assists per game this year, and he obviously won't even approach four steals a night, either.

I think Wall's line will look something like 15-16 points, seven assists, and around two steals per game while Griffin will put up something like 17-18 points, 10-11 rebounds, and in between one and two blocks.

Winless through FOUR GAMES. Either way, are you trying to tell me that if a player was putting up 25 and 12 on a bad team, you wouldn't care about the stats because their team wasn't performing? That is horrendous logic.

I also absolutely love how you're knocking Griffin for not winning a game while Wall's team is merely one game better at 1-3, the win being a one-point overtime victory over Philadelphia.

Wall is get more than 16 PPG. They literally have no one to rely on other than him. Arenas probably wont even see playing time and Howard is a bum.

I see Wall getting 20 and 7 with 2 SPG.

And I love Griffin. It's just that I do not trust Griffin's knees completely.

Griffin isn't avg 20 points... Wall is. I'm also not knocking Griffin at all, I'm just stating that Wall has better stats and 1 more win!

Dude, it's been three games. And this thread covers the ROY award, not Finals MVP. The success of a rookie's team won't account to much. Just ask Tyreke Evans.

I think it'll depend on which one doesn't get hit by the rookie wall..
Tyreke didn't and Jennings did.. Curry great for half a season
Consistency is key

Wall. He's going to lead his team near the playoffs. Clippers...well they're lucky to get 40 wins. And not lead by Griffin alone.

its been 4 games griffin is playing well and wall as been playing well also dont knock out cousins dudes been doing great too i think its going to be any of these three guys and can go either way wall is having the best season thus far but its only been 4 games lol so who ever is using 4 games as there logic is dumb... griffin is by far the favorite but if wall can prove to everyone he can play the way hes playing he will get it and cousins is a sleeper

griffen it wont be close. this wall game was like jennings 55 pointer last year. wall will struglle threw alot of this year. im predicting griffen 1 with cousins being his biggest competition

i think the asnwer is wall. that team already does whatever he wants, and hes the point guard so it'll always be in his hands. that areana is complete energized by him.

griffen is awesome, but i just feel like at some point that teams gonna quit, baron davis is gonna be jackin up 7 threes a game, and for some reason they'll play their other bigs more. its just a feeling i get.

there is NO WAY this happens. griffen might win, but it wont be because wall struggles. hes too fast and can split defenses like you wouldnt believe. if griffen wins its cause hes amazing, not because wall struggles.

prediction: wall finishes the year averaging like 17 points 7 assists and 2 steals. griffens gonna have to average a double double to beat him.

You assume it will be only btwn those 2?

My pick is Evan Turner. Once the 6ers trade all the dead weight and allow him to play, he will show what he can do.

The poll is asking which #1 pick is more likely to win. It doesn't say that it's just between them 2.

It's comparing the 2009 and 2010 #1 overall picks.
