View Full Version : Best New Rivalry in the NBA: Miami and Orlando?

Anybody else think this is going to be a very hated rivalry? I mean all the trash talking, the battle over the state of Florida, etc. Even in last nights interview, Craig Sager said D12 didn't want to talk about Miami earlier in the day.

Lakers Celtics is awesome, but really only significant when they play in the Finals. Boston vs. Miami/Orlando also going to be up there.

But anybody else agree that Miami vs Orlando is going to be pretty intense? If not what other rivalries?

Wouldn't say best yet. We have to see how the regular season games pan out first.. Also if they end up meeting in the playoffs and deliver great, intense games then yes. I'm looking forward to their game tonight though.

Cavs are on pace to go 82-0. They're the team to fear.

Yeah, I think so.

Celtics/Lakers is still the top rivalry in the NBA. I'd probably say Celtics/Heat is second just based on the hype for the first game of the season. I highly doubt Magic/Heat would have gotten that much attention. That said, it still has the potential to be a pretty big rivalry.

Go Magic!!!!

Lakers/ Celtics
Bulls/ Jazz

Those have been the best, but mostly in play offs. I think this is just a lot of trash talking that will be a good match up during regular season games. I definetl think Boston is the only team that scares the Magic.

This wont be as much of a rivalry as people think. There just isnt enough anomosity between the two clubs. Now let NY land CP3 and Melo and we can talk.
