Why would he be standing there then? And we're idiots because we don't know the complete Lakers coaching staff? Right....

If he wasn't on the staff, he shouldn't have been standing out there with the rest of them.

This is still not threadworthy. Thread starters can't expect to write one line down and expect to start a thread with it.

It's generating discussion and it's not negative.

It happened and I think it was a travesty. People are now discussing why they thought he was skipped. Threadworthy, IMO. Better than Heat or Anti-Heat trolls in here.

You're only calling it a crap thread, because you didn't see it happen.

It just happened, and the video won't likely be up for a a day or so. Starting this thread now is the perfect time, because this is still fresh in the viewers mind. As soon as the youtube gets up, you'll know what you missed.

not with INK. he thinks every thread in the NBA forum should be from espn.com or nba.com. apparently things that are relevant in the NBA and big events that might have just occurred in the game might not generate valid discussion.

It was a weiner fest on the court with the Lakers being introduced and acting like it was a house party on the hanging their last banner for awhile.

Jeez ink, we all know the NBA forum sucks for intelligent discussion (well, at least the intelligent discussers do) but this is fine. It was literally JUST on TV at the time it was posted, you can't expect a link right away. You've got another mod in here posting as well, and it seems to me that you're the only one making this a negative discussion ;)

Anyway, that was freakin' hilarious. Is this true that he just wasn't on the staff last year? If so, why would he be out there with the rest of the staff? Just to get some TV time? :laugh2:

if i were him and I had gotten a ring, I wouldn't give a @#$% if you called my name. I just want one of those rings. They put game 7 basketball patch under side of their rings.

first off, no one has the right to call others idiots!
Then, it doesn't make u an idiot to not know the whole entire lakers personnel. we hardly get to see or hear abt them.

If he was not with the team last yr, then he shouldn't have been standing there, much like the new players didn't get in line

The mods in this place need to lighten up. This thread def does not qualify as crap, infact, I think its pretty funny. I guess quality discussion falls under calling other peoples posts crappy. I'll take note of that.

That was also as funny as the Snub. When Artest was like 2010-11.... I was like what??? how did that happen??? Do they give that in advance??? Then he was looking at the wrong direction and fish had to help him out.

That was also super funny.

geez man calm down... let the mods do their jobs... ink didn't see it live so ink didn't understand what the big deal was... lotta ppl make crap threads and from the mods perspective thats what it looked like... so give mods a break... dude... and that stuff was too funny on tv...

Exactly the Mods are getting carried away with how serious they are getting... Relax Mods, have some fun, not every thread has to be the most serious discussion about sports. I recently had DBRONCOS erase the last thread I created about Lions Fans that had a video that everyone that watched it commented on how funny it was, then of course a Broncos fan deletes it...59-14 can make you a little up tight I guess, but then he created a thread after that called "Happy Birthday (poster)", and that was ok, but mine was deleted after 3 pages, hahahaa...

Funny to see live. I felt terrible for him

Was actually wondering if Phil was going to say anything but I guess it was too important to him for it to be interrupted for an assistant coach shout out. I think that would've been the classy thing, maybe he didn't notice.
