Happy NBA holiday to all of you on the PSD forum first of all... the NBA season is neigh and its a great day I would like to get some of your predictions for this year...

some of mine....

The Clippers make the playoffs and Blake Griffin is the Rookie of the Year....

Flip Saunders gets fired mid season and Arenas is traded and or released

Carmelo Anthony stays a Nugget the whole season and might even sign a extension.....

The Orlando Magic get the top seed in the East...(its bold because everyone expects the Heat to go 82-0 yes im being sarcastic)

The Suns dont make the playoffs

The Thunder will not be a top 3 seed (Lakers...Dallas....Utah....)

Now what you guys got?

Also Steve Nash is hilarious you should check out his videos especially the one with Landon Donovan

Arenas may be traded but definitely not released. his contract is way too big.

Don't think any team is desperate enough to take on that contract, not with the CBA looming where they could be able to sign someone for 1/3rd the usual cost. Would have to be a large market team, but still doubtful anyone wants to take that on the roughly 80 million over 4 years he has left. Especially since that 20 mil a year could be 40% of the new cap, and it could be a hard cap too.

Sucks for the Wizards, only way really is to package Arenas with a young/great piece of talent. Not Wall, but someone worth taking on 80 mil for, or every draft pick for the rest of the decade.

ok 1st off guys flip is not going to be fired not yet a least maybe next season but they will give him another chance
2 the only reason why people want arenas is because he has played well. Can you please be quiet and stop going to the wizards fourms offering garbage trades like including arenas and a 1st. guys leonsis is not stupid i know because i am a caps fan and most of you don't pay attention to the nhl, trading arenas is like trading nick backstrom for prospects, backstrom is the caps version of robin(ov is batman) to arenas being robin on the wizards(wall is batman).

San Antonio,Dallas and the Lakers all start showing their age this year with 2 of those teams missing the playoffs. And the Houston Rockets rebound this year with a top 3 playoff seed and a NBA finals appearance.

And the Heat flame out with Dwade coming in and out of the lineup all year due to his knee problems. Lejoke and Boshy won't be enough to win a title or touch the wins record but they do make the playoffs with a first round exit.

If Gilbert gets an opportunity to play and plays well he can definitely be moved.

It's not like he has the only bad contract out there.

Watch and see they have all the components to do it including the ability to obtain a superstar at the deadline in a trade with all the first rounders they have tucked away. They will make the playoffs and head to the finals the Lakers will NOT 3 peat and the Spurs,Mav's are done with their age and past failures they are out of the finals picture. The Thunder are a sexy pick with only a couple of good years produced and little playoff experience they won't make the finals either with their depth, starting 5,assets to obtain someone should one of the starting 5 go down this team is easily the choice to go all the way. Listen haters this team won 42 games last year without a superstar and a constant change in starting 5 now they have Kmart and Yao for a full season with one of the deepest teams in the league so they can easily win 50-55 games. I mean i know nobody wants to see the Rockets in the finals but it is what it is they will be your Western Conference Champion. Remember that series awhile back when Yao went down and with Tmac out the Rockets still went toe to toe with the Lakers well it's your turn to play in the playoffs with injury problems and our time dispatch you in the playoffs.

theres no way in hell the heat suffer a first round exit. No team in the nba with lebron on it would bow out in the first round, hes that good!

It's easily one of the worst though. And you just don't see teams taking on those type of contracts, especially with all these teams losing money and with a new CBA coming. 80 million for 4 years is a ton for anybody, let alone a guy who has played 47 games during the last 3 seasons. Factor in his character, and the chances are slim.

Really the only was I see him going is if the Wizards are bringing back a contract(s) that are nearly just as bad.
