North Yorker

The biggest nba blowout was on december 19, 1991. The heat lost to the cavaliers by the score of 148-80, a 68 point deficit.

Do you think that record gets broken this year?

Ironically if it does happen, it looks like both those teams will be the ones to face each other again, and we all know which team isn't going to win by that wide of a margin.

I can't imagine the Heat staying on the pedal with that big a lead against the Cavs...

I'd imagine we'd bench Lebron at a much earlier point and unleash the rookies.

huh?

I've been a Heat fan since I went to my 1st game in '96.

And huh?

Patrick Beverly, Dasean Butler and Dexter Pittman. You don't know them yet, but you will. Especially Pittman.

Check my join date, you brilliant investigators... Did you happen to think about what team the guy in my avatar is on right now?

What is this a bandwagon witch hunt? I'm consistently one of the better HEAT posters in this forum.

I'm gonna say no, just highly unlikely. Too much talent to let a team beat you by over 60 points.

Your coach has to be an evil s.o.b to rack up a 68 point deficit.

Plus. id rather keep the record. its screams winner. :laugh2:

At least the Bulls have the record for least points in a game....49 points. Curtiously provided for by a Miami Heat defense. :win:

I don't think so. I think the largest blowout the Heat will have is maybe 40.

If the Heat were to beat the Cavaliers by that much, in Cleveland, they wouldn't get out alive. Although, I don't think Lebron is leaving the Q alive anyways...

Ya'll are lame as ****...

Who cares about avatars? IDGAF...

And if I were to guess when this would happen, I would say it would involve an embattled team who is carried having an injury...

I could see something like Denver with Melo drumming the Suns w/o Nash.

Who cares about avatars? I haven't changed it since I said we'd be getting Bosh mid-season last year to mess with some Raps fans... It's a minor detail on an online sports forum, IDGAF...

It's like a boy's club in here where you all can team up and hate to conquer your own e-insecurities...

That said, your value judgement on my fanhood based on my avatar is classic ignorance and as inconsequencial in the grand scheme of things as it gets.

So- matter dropped.

You seem insecure about your fanhood. Thats all I'm saying.

lol If you were really a Heat fan and cared about your team I don't think you'd fly a Raptors banner across your avatar. Every "fans" different I guess.

Footballer....you bandwagon fan!

Naw, footballer is as legit as they get, no matter his avatar choice.

Yeah didn't you get the memo, the Raps fans (or should I say Bosh fans) jumped ship as soon as he left their beaten-down franchise.

The Lakers are similarly stacked and they haven't done it before so I don't see the Heat, nor anyone else, pulling it off.

I seriously think they will. Lebron remembers what Dan Gilbert said. I think he plays even if they're up 60.

They couldn't do that even if the Heat benched Wade, Lebron and Bosh the whole game.
