Will Tracy McGrady finish the season with the Pistons or in the NBA for that matter?

I think he'll have a season like AI had last year. Sign with a team, play a few games then leave the team for "personal reasons" or sign with an over seas team/retire ala Stephon Marbury.

Thoughts?

I hope he's able to finish the season with the Pistons and make a real come back next season with a contender. I wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics signed him since they're signing a bunch of has been's. With respect. I expect the C's to come out the East this year.

On the injured list.

Yes, he will. I see him playing pretty well, but I also see him parking on the injury list a lot. So, this season a Piston, next season a question mark.

Proving all the doubters wrong, shows hes got all-star ability left in him, a contender picks him up right before the playoffs and he pushes them over the top on route to his first of many Finals MVP

I have to say no... there is a lot of guys in their backcourt/on the wing... and he will be unhappy with a bunch of 8 minutes played or DNPs.

At least if he stays on the Pistons he doesn't have to worry about another early playoff exit...

Will McGrady even play half of it... now that's the question.

Who cares? After the first month of the season you all will know who Austin Daye is.

He'll get too buried in the depth chart to be motivated. I honestly doubt he'll see more than 15 minutes a game by midseason, and he'll do whatever he can to get off.

If he can't start this year, then he is truly done.

After watching Austin Daye so far in preseason, I don't think I want T-Mac taking any minutes away from him.

He'll probably retire 15 games into the season after his knee flares up.

This is a great question.
I put no. I think he'll have a good enough year for a team to trade for him. That is, assuming the Pistons don't surprise some people.

Knowing our luck with superstar players, no. lol.

I have great respect for Tmac, but odds are he might hurt again and retire.
