View Full Version : Will T-Mac finish the season as a piston?

Will Tracy McGrady finish the season with the Pistons or in the NBA for that matter?

I think he'll have a season like AI had last year. Sign with a team, play a few games then leave the team for "personal reasons" or sign with an over seas team/retire ala Stephon Marbury.

I'm not sure she can live through a season....

cant trade an injured player right?

i hate assuming that he'll get hurt, but....

I hope he's able to finish the season with the Pistons and make a real come back next season with a contender. I wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics signed him since they're signing a bunch of has been's. With respect. I expect the C's to come out the East this year.

Im very sure he will ask for a trade or be waive and sign to a contender team..

I hope so... I'd like to see a flash of old T-Mac brilliance.

he`ll finish the season in hospital aka injured aka DNP ... aka he`s finished !!!

10-12-2010, 05:24 AM
On the injured list.

10-12-2010, 06:44 AM
Yes, he will. I see him playing pretty well, but I also see him parking on the injury list a lot. So, this season a Piston, next season a question mark.

Proving all the doubters wrong, shows hes got all-star ability left in him, a contender picks him up right before the playoffs and he pushes them over the top on route to his first of many Finals MVP

10-12-2010, 11:58 AM
I have to say no... there is a lot of guys in their backcourt/on the wing... and he will be unhappy with a bunch of 8 minutes played or DNPs.

10-12-2010, 12:11 PM
At least if he stays on the Pistons he doesn't have to worry about another early playoff exit...

10-12-2010, 12:13 PM
Will McGrady even play half of it... now that's the question.

10-12-2010, 12:27 PM
if he proves he can play, a contender will trhow an expiring and a pik for him in februayr.

10-12-2010, 12:41 PM
trade deadline move.

10-12-2010, 12:58 PM
Who cares? After the first month of the season you all will know who Austin Daye is.

10-12-2010, 02:12 PM
He'll get too buried in the depth chart to be motivated. I honestly doubt he'll see more than 15 minutes a game by midseason, and he'll do whatever he can to get off.

10-12-2010, 02:31 PM
If he can't start this year, then he is truly done.

10-12-2010, 02:42 PM
After watching Austin Daye so far in preseason, I don't think I want T-Mac taking any minutes away from him.

10-12-2010, 03:53 PM
He'll probably retire 15 games into the season after his knee flares up.

10-12-2010, 04:18 PM
This is a great question.
I put no. I think he'll have a good enough year for a team to trade for him. That is, assuming the Pistons don't surprise some people.

10-12-2010, 04:42 PM
Knowing our luck with superstar players, no. lol.

10-12-2010, 06:21 PM
I have great respect for Tmac, but odds are he might hurt again and retire.

10-12-2010, 06:32 PM
Yea, I love T-Mac.
