View Full Version : LeBron could be 1st player to avg a triple-double

since Oscar Robertson did it in 1962.
If Lebron did that, it would make me dislike him less. I would totally be cheering for him to do it. He averaged 8.6 apg and 7.3 rpg last season; he's avg 8 rebounds before in a season and with him not having to handle the scoring load, I think he can do it. His assists tot last year was 6th in the league as a non pt guard.

Oh really? Did you get that from ESPN's Heat Index? Can we just watch basketball now instead of talking about what could happen this year?

I don't think you're a Heat fan but now you know what it's like to be one and the kind of people you have to deal with.

Anyway, I don't think it's far fetched for him to avg a triple-double but I think the one thing that will hurt him is that he'll be getting plenty of rest once the lead starts going up.

If he didn't do it in Cleveland where he could easily get rebounds/assist, he isn't doing it ever in Miami.

how do u figure?

He's isn't gonna be asked to score 30+ everynight... cut that in half, say LeBron averages 15 PPG with the Heat, he saves a little more energy to grab 2 or 3 more boards, and get a couple more dimes.

I dislike kobe but gotta agree. I remember that game two years ago in the spring when cleveland had only lost i believe 1 or 2 home games by then and they were playing the lakes and kobe just completely shut lebron down. i mean COMPLETELY
