No, I don't think so. He wasn't chasing a title. He walked away from coaching Indiana when they had one of the top teams in the NBA.

Some guys realize they just aren't cut out for the rigor of NBA coaching. He agreed to only coach 3yrs, and he stuck to that promise. I don't think he wants to coach.

No and IndiansFan already stated why. Don't even know how this story surfaced, Bird has shown absolutely zero interest in coaching.

I think the title of this page is the reason a lot of people get mad! Finish the title don't leave people wondering! If a mod can be so kindly to make the title more appealing to what it is trying to ask I would really appreciate it as much as other users on here

yes and it would have been a huge difference. because mike brown was a joke of a coach. and dont come a t me with how many wins the cavs had or how far they got to the play offs. it was all lbj.

coach brown play set up. pass it to lebron.

nah, i dont think so. larry bird is old school, he woulda wanted to make the team that beat lebron.

ps. newman is mad overrated at this point. he's been gettin burnt. now jenkins on the other hand....that guys a beast.
