Man, I'm really going to miss his lack of effort, zero ability, and no passion on the field.

That's great for you guys, he definitely wasn't worth his contract, or any contract with the way he was playing.

Haha! When he was in Dallas, I remember thinking he was going to be pretty good. Haha, boy was I wrong! Where to you think he will end up? Anywhere? New England? Green Bay?

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up in GB. He'd be a backup for sure, but they could use him. They are pretty desperate lol.

"Clinton Portis' third-degree left groin separation involved the muscle being torn off the bone.

It's almost certainly a season-threatening injury, and for a player in great danger of being released in the offseason, a potential career-threatener. The Skins have yet to activate Keiland Williams from the practice squad, but it'll happen before game day. They'll need to make a transaction to clear space."

"The Washington Post suggests that Clinton Portis "has played his last game" for the Redskins.

Portis' recovery from a separated groin will be no easy task, and first-year Redskins coach Mike Shanahan is pursuing a "roster overhaul" that includes replacing declining veterans with younger players in at least some cases. Said Shanahan Wednesday of Ryan Torain, "He’s a top back in the National Football League. There’s no question about it." Portis is a good bet to end up on injured reserve. He won't see a dime of his $8.254 million salary in 2011."
