Blue Jays: Against Seattle on Thursday, Hill earned his first win since April of last year. Making his third start after spending most of the year rehabbing from his second career Tommy John surgery, he logged five shutout innings and struck out seven.

Twins: Liriano left his last start early with flu-like symptoms, but has been given a clean bill of health. He has been chosen to pitch Game 1 of the American League Division Series.

Friday October 1st, 8:10, Not Televised (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5BMQ-xpTog) (AKA SNET-1)

Blue Jays: Romero will aim for a career-best 14th win when he pitches at Target Field for the first time. Saturday, the lefty walked away with a no-decision after holding Baltimore to three runs over five innings, ending with three strikeouts and five walks.

Twins: Pavano will be trying to rebound from a tough start in Detroit. He was touched for three home runs in the fourth inning.

Saturday October 2, 1:10 PM, SNET

Scouting report:

Blue Jays: In his last start on Sunday, Marcum was in fine form, limiting the Orioles to one unearned run on four hits over seven innings. The righty struck out seven and walked two, picking up the win and his seventh quality start in his past eight outings.

Twins: Duensing surrendered five runs over 6 2/3 innings in his last start at Detroit. All the runs came off homers by Miguel Cabrera and Ramon Santiago.

On one hand I am excited because these are the final games for Cito as our manager. But Cito was awesome in the 90's so it still is kind of sad.

Cito has been responsible for a lot of this team's relative success. I think he has been pretty important to the rebuilding process.

2 HR for Bautista... the 2nd was opposite field!!!

Haha no freakin' way. I just got home now, and didn't think it was worth it to grab the stream up 9-2. I thought wrong.

Gotta love Bautista :D

Snider and Bautista are a downright frightening combination.

wowo... opposite field HR.. more impressive than his bomb considering its his first out of 54..

and yeah, looks like Snider is getting locked in again. The dude could have had a huge year if healthy

Wow, 6 HR's in Minnesota is foolish! 3 HR's off Liriano is even more foolish!!! Bautista is an absolute BEAST!!

EE with 2 more HR's in this series will reach the 20 HR plateau too. Pretty impressive imo for a guy who only has 322 AB's this season. Not to mention Snider has 14 in only 293 AB's. I really think Snider is going to break out next year. I would hit him second, right in front of Bautista :)
