On one hand I am excited because these are the final games for Cito as our manager. But Cito was awesome in the 90's so it still is kind of sad.

09-30-2010, 04:14 PM
Cito has been responsible for a lot of this team's relative success. I think he has been pretty important to the rebuilding process.

09-30-2010, 10:31 PM

2 HR for Bautista... the 2nd was opposite field!!!

Haha no freakin' way. I just got home now, and didn't think it was worth it to grab the stream up 9-2. I thought wrong.

Gotta love Bautista :D

09-30-2010, 11:12 PM
Snider and Bautista are a downright frightening combination.

09-30-2010, 11:16 PM
Snider oozes potential you can just see it in the way he plays

10-01-2010, 12:04 AM
wowo... opposite field HR.. more impressive than his bomb considering its his first out of 54..

and yeah, looks like Snider is getting locked in again. The dude could have had a huge year if healthy

10-01-2010, 08:23 AM
Wow, 6 HR's in Minnesota is foolish! 3 HR's off Liriano is even more foolish!!! Bautista is an absolute BEAST!!

EE with 2 more HR's in this series will reach the 20 HR plateau too. Pretty impressive imo for a guy who only has 322 AB's this season. Not to mention Snider has 14 in only 293 AB's. I really think Snider is going to break out next year. I would hit him second, right in front of Bautista :)

10-01-2010, 10:30 PM
encarnacion's tearin it up!! a three-run HR tonight gives him 19 on the season. not too shabby since he hasnt played too much this season.

10-02-2010, 01:57 PM
give encarnacion 20 on the year. 7 jays with 20+ homeruns now

10-02-2010, 03:22 PM
^^Matches the 2000 Jays' mark. Wasn't that some sort of MLB record?

10-02-2010, 03:49 PM

Edit: Also I believe that 7 was the record for 20 home run players

10-02-2010, 03:49 PM
LOL @ Kevin Gregg...how the hell has he not blown more saves this year?

WOW EE AGAIN! 5 HRs this series!

10-03-2010, 05:53 PM
Should have been a sweep, but this was a great series. Nice way to end the season.
