I think im going to take the route that some are taking. The people who have been talking to me probably know this by now, but I dont like making proposals. So I will say what some others have been saying.

Just offer me a bunch of proposals and I will reject or decline them pretty fast.

I use to do **** like that, honestly it gets you no where. Because when you create trades, you can end up getting it far more favourable for you

Fair enough. I think something that serious should of been consulted with everybody but I dont really care. Or atleast brought to everyones attention in that post, not just put in the scoring and settings. Was that suggested by someone and I completely overlooked that to?

Just as an FYI- if you send me a trade proposal, I will see it within a few hours. At that point I will either a) accept/counter offer or b)let it sit there and very rarely c)reject it outright.

Many times me leaving a trade unreplied to for more than a day should essentially mean rejection in your mind, and you can go ahead and cancel or whatever. But as I am in this league to win it, it is never in my interest to reject a standing trade offer. So I generally don't.

As of right now, I ab beating him pretty handily in both % cats, hes got me by 2 in threes, I've got him by 2 in points, hes got me by 1 in boards, hes up 27 in assists, tied in steals, hes got 1 more block and I've got 1 less TO. That's 4-4 with a bunch of really tight races.

I think expanding to 16 teams was one of the worst ideas ever. We should almost cut teams halfway through the season and make those players not available. I mean how hard is it to update your roster once a week.

12 teams would make the League less static with all of the players available for add/drops. But is there any guarantee that teams wouldn't update in a 12 team league ? I guess it would be a matter of finding the right 12.

And Bob, I gotta give it to ya. It takes a special breed to do what you do. Its gotta be hard to be consistently at the bottom year in and year out. Especially this year when half the teams are inactive. I have never seen someone dominant the bottom part of the league as hard as you have for the past 3 years.

Haha, Bob is actually the first non-edited line-up I've faced since secterm in week 4. Still only lost one week despite having a mental retardation that led to me holding on to Delfino for far too long, and several other injuries of late (KG, Crawford, Wallace)

Agreed on the expansion comment, though. We should definitely cut it back again next year.

I was one of the people who was all for the expansion. I liked the idea of more teams because it would be that much tougher to find players that actually contribute in the 13th-15th rounds.

I definitely didnt like how the new members were brought in though. Seemed like I would log off for night and the next day 2 or 3 invites were handed out because 2 or so people agreed on the person. Dont want to sound like a prick, but there should of been some kind of application process or interview. Instead of people just inviting there E-friends.

2 less IMO. 14 would be a good number - competitive in the later rounds of the draft and on the waiver wire, while getting rid of dead weight.

We're having a pretty tight week, eh? Close in all cats, although you're starting to pull away in the %s. Monta and Kobe tonight against the Clippers and Nets doesn't help my cause, though.

How does one place a keeper tag?

I'm assuming you will want to return next season. When we start the draft for next year, you are able to place a keeper tag on any two players you owned at the end of the previous season.

For example, you have Pau Gasol (who's been amazing this season) and lets say you want him back on your team next season. You will just mention to the league commissioner that you want to keep Pau. Pau Gasol would than be removed from the draft and will be placed on your team, prior to the draft day.

You are allowed two keeper tags. If you choose to keep a player, you will lose your first round pick. If you choose to keep two players, you will lose your first and second. However, you are not obligated to use the keeper tag.

Furthermore, you are only allowed to place the keeper tag on a player twice. So Wise1, had Lebron back in the 08-09 season. He kept Lebron for both the 09-10 and 10-11 season, thus Lebron would be added back into the draft pool in next years fantasy draft.

That's my problem too. What if I wanted to trade for a player on their team, but I can't because they don't even bother to come around?

I thought rondo was bit overrated in fantasy term. got a good package so traded him. he is 12th (average stat rank) among PG eligible players so i wouldnt call him a Top Pg.

Well, he'll score more than Kidd (already is). I just need to decide how much he'll improve next year. Not top 5 pick anyway lol since I'll be picking around 12-13 for my first round pick (depending on how many teams we keep I guess) and then 19-20 for my second rounder. So I need to decide if the combined value of Amare/Wall is greater than what I would get with those two picks. Even with Melo, Amare is still putting up top 10 fantasy numbers.

just realized that even if he did have 4 TOs, all of my guys only need to combine for 3 more assists and I take that category as well...I'm sure 3 minutes of Crawford/Hayes and a full game of Wallace would have netted me 3 assists.

According to Yahoo, everyone should have been emailed an invite with the log in information (including you). You haven't received anything?

Or, go click on your profile name on your team page and all your old team rosters should come up.

If someone was on your team for both those years, they are off limits as keepers (I think that is the rule...)

Also, for those who don't remember-

Last year, I had a 17.5 game lead (124-54-2) going into the playoffs, then had a bad week in the first round and lost.

I will most likely be keeping a pair of Kevins- Durant and Love.

So we got 10 now, last year we had 16, which I think most people felt was a little much?

And as far as keepers, are we saying you can only have a player on your roster for 2 seasons, or keeper him twice? As in, I held Dirk and Josh Smith as keepers last year, but I traded for them both the year before. So I've had them for 2 years, but I've only keeper'ed them once.
