View Full Version : Jon Brockman has burger named after him in Milwaukee

First off, let me defend why I even posted this in the NBA forum:
1) He hasn't played a single game yet for the Bucks, yet has his own burger.
2) It's a double burger topped with two fried eggs, four strips of bacon (not including the bacon antlers), three slices of cheese and peanut butter
3) Despite being a 12th man on the Kings last year, he has over 300,000 followers on his Twitter.
4) He has had haiku's and various forms of poetry written about him mourning the fact that he isn't a King anymore
5) NBA fans need to know how awesome Jon Brockman is

And here is the article:

That's a cheeseburger (above). And not just any cheeseburger, it's the Brockness Monster. And yes, that's two strips of bacon poking out of the bun. That thing looks like it will stop your heart, but it's not stopping the brave patrons at AJ Bombers in Milwaukee from tackling the monster. Good luck.

The burger was created for former Washington standout Jon Brockman (below), who was traded to the Bucks in the offseason.

This isn't a sandwich for salad eaters. It's a double burger topped with two fried eggs, four strips of bacon (not including the bacon antlers), three slices of cheese and peanut butter. Yes, peanut butter.

It's amazing, the guy has a burger in Milwaukee and he hasn't played one game for the Bucks. But then, that's Brockman.

He's donate $10 to Special Olympics Wisconsin for every one of his signature burgers sold over the next week.

That too is Brockman. Looks like the big man is loving his burger.

Every time I see the name Jon Brockman (which isn't all that often), it for some reason reminds me of Chest Rockwell.

Peanut Butter on a cheese burger? :puke:

But mad respect for the guy. Donating $10 for each burger sold.

Actually, the burger is named after Brock Samson, who had that nickname first.

It looks awesome, though. I just had some Carnation Instant Breakfast for dinner before I looked at that pic. Dirty pool, Derek. Dirty pool...
