I have a business project and for our project we need to research a NBA franchise and see how they run the teams from Financially, NBA Drafts, Ticket Sales, and etc.

The Franchise I am researching is the Golden State Warriors soo if you know any websites that explain how to run and own a franchise. Please help out.

The only thing I have is the Warriors being bought by Joe Lacob from Chris Cohan.

So I thank you in advance if you guys can help me out

You're asking PSD for help on running an NBA franchise?

Good luck...

Ask Asandhu.

You mean the one who thinks Monta Ellis is comparable to Kevin Durant?

Ask Asandhu.

Since it's a school project I'd assume they want unbiased opinions. Not a good source.

And if you want to see how a franchise is run...RC Buford/Greg Popovic of the San Antonio Spurs. They have won 50 games or more for a decade straight, and have 4 titles over that time span. The OKC Thunder are the newest example of how to build/run a team.

You've been on the forum for a few months. You should know by now that you can't start a thread that's serious enough without being abused or 'facepalmed bro'.

Your best bet is to google, google and more google -- with a bit of wikipedia in the mix, definitely not on the NBA forums on PSD lol
